Blackstone Adventure Ready camp stove review.
An honest no BS review of the Blackstone Adventure ready camp stove with 14" griddle & side burner. In this video I will highlight key features of the stove, demonstrate its use & share some thoughts on how it works & its overall value. ***update*** I may have referred to this as the 17'' griddle model but in reality the griddle size is 14", my apologies!

    I’m not really sure what the company can do, since the issue is with your Jeep…I get it that you’re probably upset at their response, but they can’t really do much for you.

    Edit - lol, my wife wants to know what your dogs’ names are. As I watch more & more tile formats, I’m leaning towards making each square 1.1” or 1.2” to allow a bit more space for walls, corners & even chars w swords or whatever that are slightly larger than just 1x1. Similarly, I might go w 1” high walls, again so that chars & monsters can overhang a tiny bit if needed. PCs and such can “squeeze” but minis can’t! Finally, did you consider or test putting nuts in alternating rows, not just at every interpret? So rows 1, 3, 5, etc in same positions as you have them (say, A, C, E, G, etc) , and then rows 2, 4, 6, etc offset say at B, D, F, H, etc?? That would give you even more flexibility in placing walls & terrain. Your idea of more magnets partially solves the problem, but can’t put walls, etc on to those in between rows.

    I learned long ago the powder coating is a POS. It looses its shine quickly and soon after a piece will break off and moisure will get to the metal and rusting will begin. I just stripped off all the wasted PC off my motorhome steps and gave them a good coat of truck bed liner. I just bought a new truck and am preparing to coat the bed. The reason so much stuff comnes powder coated is that factories have found it is quicker & cheaper to PC than to spray paint with a high quality auto paint. !

    How many 4 by 4's do I need to have? How long does the cribbing need to be?

    • @TheTroopersCorner
      @TheTroopersCorner 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good questions! The ideal amount of cribbing to be carried is entirely dependent on a few factors such as what type of apparatus are you using it on, how much space to you have to store it, what other stabilization tools do you have & what the operational needs are. Offhand I would say that a typical class A engine should probably have 2 stepchocks 2 wedges & at least a dozen pieces of 4x4 cribbing but that’s just an umbrella statement, it’s all pretty much depending upon your needs & storage. Obviously a rescue or heavy rescue would be carrying far more than that. In fact, I have asked that question to most of the heavy rescue guys I have trained with & their answer is “never enough” ha ha ha. As far as specific lengths go I probably would not go shorter than 16” & not longer than 24”. Whatever length you cut though make sure it’s cut to a multiple of 4 (16” 20” 24”) so you can stack the same amount of crib on top of each other without big gaps or overlap. Ours are cut to 24” long which is pretty standard to most of the other agencies surrounding us so we can use each others cribbing on complex scenes needing more crib but also, 24” is how deep our compartments are so that worked out perfectly for us.
