Great shave, Fred! By the way, how would you compare its aggressiveness to the which setting used in Yaqi Avanti Adjustable ? I have thick stubble and prefer efficient razors. I need help deciding between the Avanti and the Yaqi 37, especially since the Avanti costs almost twice as much as the 37. I plan to use Feather blades-do you think that combination with the 37 slant would work well? Thanks

Fantastic how your method can create such a lather from one of the cheapest soaps available. I mean, Proraso is still a good and reliable brand although not a top one.

Yeah a fair blade exposure from that razor. Seems to be somehow a bit agressive. I don't mind about that since for me milder razors make me doing several passes and sometimes causes razor burn. Strange but true how a mild one does not work great with me. Tks for the upload Fred. See you.👍

Nice shave mate. I soaked my boar brush in the fridge for 48 hours then really hard massaged the tips that helped a good bit

Hello Fred. Another great upload. Good soap from Hendricks,pairing with Final Cut from Yaqi. I must say i have 2 boar brushes and i like them as well. If you keep using it for a while they become real soft and good performers. Looking to see you soon again mate.

Do you ever use warm water as pre shave instead of cold?

Do the fiber used in the brush spring back? How is the backbone? Do it feel similar to a natural brush? About the razor is the handle slippery with wet hands? About the new Proraso Green Super Formula the amount of menthol has been drastically reduced so can be used by everyone all year around but if you like the iceness, take the Proraso preshave, that is a lot more iceness than what was present in the Proraso green soap. Nota: Better take a piece of the Proraso soap and work it on a bowl,it is a soft soap you ruin it easy if you put water inside,at least if you don't finish it quickly.

It is interesting how this soap failed to reach the proper consistency, especially considering the brush you used is a lathering monster. No doubt you'll get better results next time. Cheers!

Indeed. Fred always makes one of the best lathers of youtube vídeos. Regarding daily shaving, it was my option decades ago. For me, it is far easier shaving daily than every other day or two or three days. The only exception is one week or two during some summer hollidays when i do not shave at all. I have a coarse and difficult beard, that's why. Well done Fred. Cheers.👍

I’m going to start doing some face lathering after watching this, starting pasty and working my way up hydrating it. I liked what you mentioned that when it almost looks see through it’s time to splay the brush I didn’t know that little trick. Cheers

What blade did you use? A feather normally lasts up to 8 or 10 shaves

There is not a single day without a new soap coming out. There should be hundreds by now. That new from Hendricks seems gorgeous, great scent and what a lather that is. Worth a try for sure. Well done Fred.
