I really enjoyed this man, Great video!
@@ruiteroutdoors thank you brother 👍🏼
Brother you were covered up in bucks! That was an absolutely amazing hunt. Multiple encounters with the buck you were after!! That’s a successful hunt without the hard work of dragging a big joker out of the woods.
Hey man love your videos especially the Iowa hunt. How did you just pick a zone to go to?
Thanks man , I did a good bit of research and just talking to People. And then through a bow sale I met a guy who lived in Iowa. That’s how I decided on the zone. I had 5 points so I knew I stood a good chance of drawing the most popular zones.
They are hearing you snuffing your nose!
Nice don’t second guess yourself you did it the way it should be done
Great hunt!! I'm headed to Indiana after Halloween to hunt a farm I've waited 46 years to set foot on. I hope I see this many deer. Great job.
Had to look this one up to review and get ready for the season. I went and bought the X2 pack based off your video and then saw the next one come out with a different pack lol. Are you happy with the current one? I can see your frustration with the camera in the x2. Wish I would have waited. But it’ll do for now. Found a nice little camera bag for inside my x2. Better than the igloo.
I Run a Sony ax700 with a shotgun mic on top. And I like leaving the mic attached to the cold shoe mount. The x2 works great for everything accept it’s a little hard to get the camera in and out of the bag because it’s a top loadable bag only. A smaller size camera would be fine or if you disconnect your shotgun mic every time. That’s the only problem I had with it. I still have my x2. I use it to pack out deboned deer . It’s a great pack. Taking the camera in and out is the only thing that made me change packs.
A giant in Iowa would be 180.or better.
Man, nothing to complain there. You saw so many deer. And yes, mature bucks are more “lucky” than 2 yr olds. Not the story of your Iowa life. That’s everyone’s story. 😂
🤣ain’t that the truth
You didn’t get one, but that really was one of the best videos I’ve seen. Keep making videos man 🙏
@@outdoorsmanallday thanks man. I appreciate that. And I will 👍🏼
Great atuff
Stuff
When I have a buck that won't respond to grunting I'll pull put my can call more than once iv had them wheel around and come in like he was on a string. Waching this vedio I was hoping u would would of pulled out a can call. But still rifle reason then those big bucks will be in trouble. Lol
@@scottbailey8158 man I tried everything under the sun. A lot is not on film. I grunted, wheezed, canned, rattled.. the whole nine yards. I have no idea why they would not respond .. I’m like you, I usually have success with some sort of calling in other places. But I just had very little luck there. Accept with younger bucks.
Love watching your vids man. You do a great job...Keep it up and go TIGERS!
Thanks brother 👍🏼👍🏼
We need to get together one of these days and make a hunt. I hit Bodcau and Loggy bayou when I can but I live in OKLAHOMA
@@jeremyleger8060 we will have to do that
Awesome hunt enjoyed it better luck next time on your wall hanger
Where they at? I sure wish I was in the woods!!
They are here! .. somewhere 😂
Now that is truly living the Way God expects!!! Not war political corruption.threts of nuclear capability around the world . I could go on for days 😮 But tell me why can't we just be normal human beings? It really falls back to one ignorant thing!!! Greed infested people who think the world 🌎 owes them something more! And it's never enough doesn't matter what it is!!!!! I appreciate you for being able to put all the stupid trash to the dumpster it belongs in and enjoy what life was given to us for !!! The setting your in is worth trillions of $ what the other ocean of drama kills for 😮😮
Living the good life!
Lo único malo es tu moco ases mucho ruido
A lifetime of memories.. that was a great adventure..
You definitely saw alot of deer, had alot of opportunities. Sometimes just being in the woods and seeing alot of nature.
I really enjoyed the video.. Im 61 yo 30 + year traditional shooter from Alabama and bow hunt Indiana every year. Never tried to get a tag in Iowa so congrats on that achievement.. this was one of the best filmed and documented hunts on TH-cam which takes alot of effort to achieve in itself.. I myself would never do this because it's hard enough to just bow hunt the deer.. so I absolutely commend you on that.. well done video.. but after watching the entire video I was really disappointed on how you was getting this mentality of feeling sorry for yourself.. the poor pitiful me's... It seemed like you were miserable the whole trip.. man all those bucks and seeing that monster.. several times... I think your expectations were higher than the possibility of a negative outcome and you tanked mentally half way into the trip.. you named your channel right at least for this trip High Pressure Hunting.. Cause you put yourself under way to much pressure.. Great channel I'm subscribing now .
Thank for the subbing and thank you for the feedback. It was a trip full of highs and lows. A bit of an emotional rollercoaster. But that’s bow hunting isn’t it?. Thanks again!! Good luck to you this season 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
That is real hunting....most of the time it a bust ..but that wasn't..many nice bucks..I commend you for not settling
Thank you
Im from Louisiana also and i would say no matter what the outcome was this is definitely a successful hunt.
Great video, thanks 👍
Yes sir. Thank you.
Every buck I’ve killed in ms had that black stripe back
Nice 2 yr old
Bow range!
What part of louisiana are you from?
Washington Parish
@highpressurehunting I'm in St. Mary. Really enjoyed your footage...it will come in handy when I make my way to Iowa. I have 2 pp's now, so I'll be ready in a couple years.
@jamesaucoin131 Man it’s an awesome state to hunt. You will love it. Especially being a southern fella from Louisiana. Thank you.
Live in Ohio and Iowa both states are able to have great deer but Iowa the bucks do average a longer life span on average.. I experience as a rule Iowa bucks do have bigger racks and bigger bodies and base this as my experience.
I have not hunted Ohio yet. Planning on it soon. Thanks for the input. Good luck to you this upcoming season 👍🏼
Steven knows what he's doing. Great shop and bow mechanic. Very nice video! Congratulations!
The most wonderful time of the year 😁
Like the music. Tired of hearing hip hop and seeing flat brims on hunting videos
I know what ya mean. Thanks man.
Some nice bucks. You Iowa guys are lucky to have such good management.....
I love your truck set up I have same one and same camper shell where did you get window installation
The curtains and insulation were DIY from materials I bought at Home Depot
Just discovered your channel. Great video. I felt like I was there with you. I know u didn't harvest an animal, but i feel your hunt was very successful. Ill be following along on your future videos.
Thanks man👍🏼Glad you enjoyed. Subscribing would really help me out. That’s my goal is to try and bring the story as best I can.
Good job brother. Way to go on sticking with a mature animal. Much respect.
@@offgridwhitetails8768 thank you.
I got the same one last Tuesday, but 28 and #70 and I love it
Thanks for sharing this video of the ups and downs. Sorry it didn’t work out but you were out there enjoying beautiful creation! Frustrating but I’m sure you wouldn’t have changed it for the world. Just to be in the game as often as you were was incredible! As they say that’s hunting! I truly enjoyed the video. Good luck this season!
@@Prog27801 Thank you. I enjoyed every second of it. Good luck To you this season as well
It’s a pretty good choice on your Bow. Total peep makes a really good grip. I took the grip off my bow and just use the tennis wrap and early works good for me.
My friend, you are simply waaaaaaay too picky for my taste. I understand passing up some good deer for a great deer, but if I travel all the way from Louisiana to Iowa, I will settle for a good buck rather than a great one. Your freezer would be just as full. Anyway, good video. Sorry you didn't get your "great" buck.
I bought a car a few years back with change 😂 the bank had me sitting in back of cop car explaining why I was cashing in so much change🤦♂️😂😂
@@welderoo ha! That must’ve been a lot of change
Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna make my Switchback XT hunt one more season but it's time for a new one. Did you shoot the PSE Mach 30? Any thoughts? I'm a little sketchy on the possible need for all the longer stabilizers and back bars on it. But I haven't even shot one. I'm also sure that once I shoot the Lift that might be the bow. I also shoot 28.5" DL and like the shorter axle to axles. But I like 175+ grains up front, 15+% FOC, so my old XT is lobbing some slow shots. Haven't used a chronograph yet so no idea how slow it really is. Keep us posted!
I still have a switchback. One of the best bows ever made in my opinion. The 3 bows I had narrowed down were the lift, the elite era and the Mach 30. I really liked the Mach 30. And honestly I liked it as much as the lift. But the price difference is what swayed me. I did not find anything better or worse about the shoot ability of the Mach 30 over the lift. They both were equal to me as far as what I was looking for. But the Mach 30 was a few hundred dollars more. I just could not justify the price difference. So I went with the lift

Great vid & job by you! To be around a top quality Big Buck of that ilk is truly a blessing that U can watch & share for Ur lifetime! Its all about dreams & memories despite not always harvesting a deer. Good luck in the 24 season!!!
Thank you. It was a timeframe I will never forget. Good luck too you as well this season. Thanks again for the kind words 👍🏼
I think this was a great video. I enjoyed all of it. You would be a good guy to hunt with.
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 👍🏼
I really enjoyed the video and I love the way you broke down what you were looking at from a hunting standpoint
