When I was younger I was bullied for liking Avengers, SPECIFICALLY Iron Man and Spider-Man. My mom would shop in boys clothing sections for me, I would be so happy when she got me ninja turtle action figures, and had cool Superhero's on my new underwear. (my mom would put the underwear over my pull ups and got the boxers from the boys section as well) I just liked the the cool affects in movies, and the good guys always winning. I was 3 or 4 when I told my mom, and dad that I wanted to be Spider-Man for Halloween. At the time there wasn't any female, or gender neutral Spider-Man Items. So I had a muscular Spider-Man Costume on (the ones with padded muscles), and a big blue and red tutu on over it. When I went trick-or-treating there was this house that gave you a hand-full of candy each, so there was a group of 3-6 year old's with their buckets ready. I went to the house and my parents waited for me near the lawn. There was this lady who was about in her 30's (at the time my parents were about 20-22) she said right in front of my parents "Ugh...who let their daughter dress like that, that's disgusting."

That sucks. Older siblings can be relentless. Mine was my brother messed with me incessantly. At 17, I'd finally had enough of the daily beating over the last 14 years, so I, in retailation to his behavior one night daring me to do something, I punched him. Then he caved my face in, and I needed reconstructive surgery.
