NIID Radiant Urban Sling Review | First Impressions
I backed this sling on Kickstarter and finally received it in the mail today. I thought i would share some first impressions of the bag and a preview for other backers who are still waiting for their product to ship due to the current Covid situation. Hope everyone stays safe and are able to be more accommodating during these tough times!

Thanks for the video! When are we getting a face reveal ><
Your video volume is low? Maybe u speak in a low voice.
I saw a video where the handle can put in front Of a bicycle.. When you're riding a bicycle..
Don't think it worth $99 u.s.d.. On amazon..maybe worth $50.
Speak slower
Needs a stabilizing strap !
Do you think this can fit a MacBook Pro 13 inch? and a wide water bottle at the bottom where you put your umbrella in?
สีอะไรสวยที่สุดครับ
Is this material used to make it durable? Is it easy to scratch?
Great video Thanks. A bit worried about the waterproof issue especially for main compartiment when storing a large table. Price is quite high too. But this is the best and complete demo of the bag i saw
Thanks for the good job of reviewing this bag. I was looking for a review of the RO+ sling bag but I could not find any, so I watched yours on this bag. Nice job, nice bag. My advice to bag reviewers: keep hands off the bag if you are not showing features/details of bag.
This bag is a bummer. Short warranty, weak aquaguard, it gets really bulky, and the secret hole for water flask or umbrella eats too much from the main compartment. For 100 euros? Absolutely not that big deal!
In fact, diz is a super commuter city slinger bag,it's designed for city watch ,the hustle n buzzle In the city!!!the design of concept of its built is GRE8,only lacking into it will be...better if it's cut proof, and of corz waterproof!! I'm a minimalists so I'm waiting for the release of NIID FINO4!!
Great review. Thank you 🙏
Will a 12.9 inch iPad Pro fit?
Hi it should barely fit the 12.9inch pro! It will, however, compromise on the aesthetic/ how the bag will close.
does it have a lock system on the strap? will it slide down if there a too many things in the bag?
May I ask are you satisfied with it up to now? I'm planning to buy one
Hi Mountbatten Knowles! After using it for awhile i’m pretty satisfied with it. Its comfortable to carry and i haven’t faced any quality or utility issues so far!
@@darinloh ohhh thanks for taking the time to reply! Then I order one now! thank you so much!
how heavy is this?
How does the secret side pocket close?
Hey! Its really wanted to explain this in the video but i found it very difficult to. The design is pretty unique and origami like. From top down it would look like a “N” shape. With you being able to put stuff in from both the top and bottom of the “N”. These entry points have a elastic netting which diagonally covers the lower half of the openings. This effectively creates two compartments which share the same space. It may not look particularly secure but because the horizontal portions of the “N” are connected they apply sufficient pressure to keep items in place and you don’t have to worry about items falling out from regular use.
Now July 1st and still have not received mine . They claim they start shipping in May but I doubt it
Did you end up getting it? I’m interested in buying one
Still waiting for my 2 bags. I didn't know the Taiwanese backers got another color choice. I got gray & black.
Will 60% keyboard fit?
Hey! I dont personally own a 60% keyboard but i expect it to be a tight fit if it does fit at all. The thing about the main compartment of the bag is that it when wide items are placed in it, the "sides of the bag"( by this i mean the font and back panels) have to bend to accommodate the width ( this is due to the fact that there is fabric as a base while the font and back of the bag are joined by the sides. the main compartment is more akin to triangular volume rather than a cuboid). so if your keyboard does fit but happens to be on the wider side, you may find it difficult to place an iPad in the bag as well as the iPad compartment will be "curved" in a sense. Im not sure how exactly best to explain it but i hope you kind of understand what I'm trying to say.
Nice video, thank you for sharing.
Overall great and thorough review. Btw, the "rubber handle" is supposed to be used to hook over the handles of your roller luggage when you travel. I doubt it was meant as a hand carry, judging by how everything else was thought through very well.
Thanks for pointing that out Euvern! That rubber handle designed to allow for a luggage pass-through makes sense. However, when I took a look at the bag again, the rubber handle doesn't appear to be very long so I fear it may not be able to act as a pass through for a lot of roller luggages. I also took a look at the Kickstarter and I was not able to find any mention of the handle being designed for that purpose. I personally haven't tested it yet but if you have or know of where they advertised this feature I would really appreciate if you could share it with me!
Yes, now we all get it 😁
Eagerly waiting for mine... Ordered the grey one 😁
Same here from Germany
Nice review bro. Still waiting for mine though... I think the price point is good considering the design.
Thanks Rendy! Yeah, I feel that it is really well designed and thought through. most of the bag feels very premium but there are a few smaller details which I felt could have been improved upon. For example, although the magnetic buckle is metallic, the other parts of the strap are made of plastic. The keyholder in the front pouch, as well as the inner velvet tablet lining of the bag, did not feel as premium as the rest of the bag. But that may just be me being particularly critical of the sling! Hope you receive your bag soon and stay safe!
