So a couple months ago, i decided to start working on this Thrash Metal/MetalCore-ish album, and with how close it is to being finished, i've decided that it's time to reveal it with a little preview! ultra-synthesized voice, excessive use of modulator, voice backing track. The dubbing of the lyrics is great, but your voice isn't even real. You have another video singing SIC and you can't get it right, your voices are strained and the harmonics are not correct.
@@neferpitou1795 I mean it has some ott over it(compression) and chorus, but other than that the voice isn't too oversaturated of effects. you can hear the parts I use my actual voice right? they share the same mixing chain as my screams and you can hear them transition from one to another smoothly. Also, what other video singing Sic? I have only one vid singing this song and the other ones are lamb of god and wait and bleed covers. I appreciate the criticism, yeah, but I could literally upload the isolated vocal tracks without processing and the difference wouldn't be abysmal. Saying my voice is straight up fake is a bold ass claim dude, I'm just beginning to learn about how to actually do any of this. I'm not the best at mixing and I'm not the best at screams.
@@Macslealmy bad, is wait and bleed Even so, I am not dismissing your capacity for growls, however there is a double track in this video. The growl you do in wait and bleed is your natural scream and SIC's is clearly a good mix. Record a video of SIC isolated voice and I will believe you. As a fact, your scream and growl technique is pharyngeal when it should be paranasal and diaphragmatic.

@@Macsleal txs bro, tbh I heard the song you mentioned and although you perform scream, you lack a lot of technique. That's why you used saturator for SIC, and your growl is deeper (as seen in Wait and Bleed). In the case of Laid to rest, it is simply not a big deal since you simply perform raw screaming, no technique. You go from one extreme to the other. Your natural growl reach is for styles like Dying Fetus or TBDM perhaps. Depending on where you are from I can teach and guide you
