Thank you for reaching out, I have reached out to Khathu to help me answer the two points you raised below whilst he gets his TH-cam account up and running. 1. Herein he states that he did reach out to his parents and siblings prior, the extended family is what he refers to in this regard when he says family i.e., uncles, aunts, cousin’s etc 2. According to Khathu this is to inspire hope and show how he found God in what he deems to be his darkest hour. When he’s back, again if we have capacity we’ll also address these. @@10XBETTERGENERATION I want to firstly thank you for taking the time to respond in detail. It shows how seriously you take your channel and its viewers, and for that, you’ve earned my subscription. In response to point 1 of your response, when an extended family member is in prison, it is not only his immediate family that supports him, but it is also his extended family who are in the journey with him. I say this from experience because I’ve had a cousin who was released in 2009. During his time in prison, we as his cousins, found ourselves supporting him financially, morally through frequent visits and calls, as well as spiritually, during the 22 years of his incarceration. I can only imagine if all that time he had told us that he was wrongly accused, and then after his release, we run into a TH-cam video of him saying he had actually done the crime. That would be a shocking and disrespectful thing for the extended family, showing that you don’t regard them for anything, and your love for them is not genuine, and only leave them questioning your motives.
