Filmed on a private road. This is a video on my 1995 Mazda Miata with a Jackson Racing Catback and a Magnaflow High Flow Catalytic Converter (also featuring the infamous Miata lifter tick). I do a few revs, working my way from low to high RPMs, then a few pulls and flybys again working my way from low to high RPMs. Enjoy!

what kinda mpg ya getting? Installing lonngtubes in a few weeks on my 07 v8 4runner. Excited for the slight performance gains lol
With a 2.5 inch lift, 285/70/17 tires and a heavy foot (since I want to hear it), I only got about 12-14 regardless of city/highway. I’ve since moved into a V8 4runner, which also has the headers but no lift or big tires. In that I’m getting about 15-16 in the city and about 17-20 on the highway depending on speed. Definitely still a thirsty girl but not as bad as the GX was.
@@mrcoolzach5123 why move from gx to v8 4runner?
@@aidan666 I prefer how the 4runner looks and my GX wasn't in the greatest condition cosmetically. I think both are great.
Did your engine light stay on after installing the headers? Or did the ECU adjust to the higher air flow? Thanks!
Sounds sick man! Please keep us posted on drone. Where’d you order you stuff from? Short or long tube headers?
Drone was not bad, hardly noticeable to my ears. Only really at like 50-60 mph. Long tubes were on it when I bought the car, ordered the catback from Burtman Industries. Wouldn’t recommend since he took forever to put my order in and the time from submitting my order to arrival was 6+ weeks. Wasn’t until I asked for a refund that he placed the order and I got tracking info.
Is there tuning options available for this platform to take full advantage of the increase in airflow?
There might be now, but folks have been rocking the headers with no tune for years since these headers came out
Any lights on and what was your solution for them?
O2 emulator gets rid of CEL
sounds mean, only thing that would concern me is the clearance. I feel like once that axle back piping is re-worked to be higher (maybe 2 custom bends) it will be cherry. good stuff!
I haven’t had any issues with clearance yet. Very happy with the fitment.
