Carter BloodCare is an independent, community blood center providing transfusion resources to more than 180 medical facilities in 50-plus counties of North, Central and East Texas. The nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization is one of the largest blood programs in Texas, delivering more than 450,000 blood products annually to meet hospitals’ requirements for their patients. Services include collection, processing, specialized laboratory testing, storage and distribution of blood and blood products.

Doctor Ethan's videos are actually helpful and I actually learned a lot for my school! He is the most knowledgable Dr in Nottingham and he talks about wellness and conditions. It isn't the norm to receive payment for giving blood, but you can be paid hundreds per month for giving plasma (you can donate plasma more often).
We do not pay donors. Carter BloodCare is a community blood center that supports patients in North, Central, and East Texas. When you donate with us, you’re giving back to the community! We often give out promotional coupons as a “thank you” and as you donate, you can redeem points in our donor store.
Thank you for helping to gain extra community support. Always a good event, great music of course.

I got to go b/c one of the things you could "buy" with your points (which you get w/ every donation) on their website was a raffle ticket for suite tickets. It was AWESOME! We got to get our picture taken with Marty Turco, and I got two hockey pucks signed by Eddie Balfour, Turco, and others. So it wasn't just completely by random. And you could buy more tickets the more points you had :).
