In this monthly roundup, we discuss three articles and a novel. First, Hollie recalls one of the most brutal cases of organized cruelty that sensitized her to take an interest in war crimes, the turn of the century conflict in Sierra-Leone where rebels made it a practice to amputating the limbs of children as part of their war against the government. holliesmckay.substack.com/p/rebels-amputated...

I would like to hear both of your opinions on the use of climate engineering to manipulate the weather. There is currently very little regulation to dictate how climate engineering should be used.
Hollie, have concerns about IDF going into a trap in Rafah. With Egypt gearing up for battle, Hamas in the middle, I see a possible suicidal biological/mass destruction scenario developing…
Looking forward to learning from your experiences! Sometimes fiction is the most honest truth! Are you going to be going on a book tour?
I hope so!
Congrats and Best Wishes on the new book!
Holly keep up the great work much love to you and your family!💥💥👍🙏💖💥💥

This woman is a biased liar
Merry Christmas Holly.
Thats so Raven

Thank you Hollie! Merry Christmas!

Congratulations to you both, and thank you for your continued contributions to journalism.
Congratulations on the birth of Raven! Such a beautiful little girl! I hope she is able to grow up in a world of peace, love and respect thanks in no small part to her mother ‘s insightful and unselfish professionalism! So happy for you both!
Thank you! Makes me proud to be a subscriber!
This woman is a shill for the Taliban. My friends were murdered by the Taliban and she down plays all the murders.
Thank you for more wonderful insight. It is a real treat being able to view the world through your eyes.
Thank you for a very informative perspective. TBH though, it hasn’t risen up too high on my bucket list.
1:32 you're lucky you didn't get blown up by a wire-guided Anti-Tank missile riding in the back of that ute like so many other government forces , I suppose it doesn't really matter we'll all get it when the yanks start a Nuclear War that they so desperately desire
ليست قوات حكوميه جميعها مليشيات مدعومه من دول خارجيه ودماء الابرياء ورقه بظاعه للتفاوض فقط . اتمنى ان تنتهي هذه الحرب قريبا .

After dropping the majority of active US support Yemen has nearly been forgotten about. Sad for sure.
Love your work! Fascinating and very detailed
How was the Orthodox Church? I'm surprised the Iranian regime hasn't destroyed it.
Iran is religiously and ethnically diverse. They have many churches in Iran and other beautiful places all intake.
God bless the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ❤🇸🇦
Really interesting!! Good to know about this!! Thank you, Hollie!
How many times have you been to Afghanistan? If I can ask.
The breadth and quality of your reporting is so impressive. You are truly a caring individual. Thank you for all of your concerns and communications in bringing so many important issues to the front burner.
Thanks so much
I enjoy your written pieces but look forward to your video content as well.
Excellent! The world with Hollie.
Thanks for your support, Bruce!
Can I ask in what year you started covering the Iraq War? Or conflict in general?
United States is the creator of the world’s largest problem
It was a lie
I suppose life is a set of choices…some less rewarding than others. Hollie shines a light where others are silent.
Definitely not a “dearth of doing” in Holly’s world! We are so lucky to have a person with such a broad depth of curiosity amongst us, to allow us to see the world through her investigatory eyes. Passionate does not begin to describe her. It would be interesting to see how Mr. Hemingway would have penned her accomplishments on paper.
One woman making a HUGE difference in the world! Thank you!
What happened to your Instagram?
I think there is an over focus on border issues in the media, as it has been for past couple of decades, and not enough policy focus on the fentanyl issue which is very different. Cartels will always find a way, and the immigration issue is a welcome attention distraction for them. Most people coming to the US trying to seek a better life and have nothing to do with this issue… there should be a path for them and I am very pro immigration. The border and drug crisis, in my opinion, shouldn’t be conflated. Unfortunately in our politically divided environment it all gets rolled into one when it shouldn’t be.
How is this connected to immigration ?
I would like also write here something. I'm Polish citizien, Slavic woman and IRGC tortured me also for this that I wrote true about Iranian imperialism and crimes in Iraq, they sent me threats on-line in youtube, facebook, also one Iranian whom I met on date site Muslima showed out IRGC agent and he interrogated me in case of those comments about Iran in Iraq, forced me to writting strange letter with saying sorry to Iranian embassy in Warsaw, threatened me and my family death. He sent me also fotos from office of IRGC in April 2022 and said that IRGC agents will go to my home pretending postmen, I couldn't sleep throught month. Recently he sent me threats from SMSInfo and he said me that or I will go to Iran or IRGC will go to Poland kill my family and me and that he can find me in Poland or Ukraine where he knows cities (I didn't know that he is IRGC agent, I thought that he is common Iranian from date site, so I gave him cities and documents). He names Javad Sarian and lives in Teheran, I have his fotos, documents and even adress. He names Javad Srn on facebook.
This was a great interview and a fascinating subject.
Thank you
Hollie is beyond incredible! What a formidable and brave news source! Third time’s a charm…omg! 😳
She's right about the Taliban not deploying suicide bombers until after the American invasion of 2001. "It is a very timid way of fighting" one told me back then.
It is so refreshing to hear truly honest and unbiased news reports from the absolute most harrowing locations. Hollie bends over backwards to keep it real and represent all sides of the story through personal involvement. She is an informative treasure. Thank you!
Thank you for reading
Taliban and Iran mullahs must be removed by force
It's good to see some coverage from the ground in Afghanistan.
I read the article too. I'm surprised Canada let this happen. Canada doesn't strike me as a country that would be OK with MAID for depressed Veterans.
the collective west also took all of Afghanistan's gold reserves... i am pretty sure they'd rather have that then all the stupid shit the west left behind.
without firing a single bullet China can enter Afghanistan freely. this is called the power of soft power
Stupid arguments. It's very clear from the day uncle shame leaving afghan with tail between legs... Afghan people / government would embrace China Russia alliance. No doubt about it.
