I agree with an older comment; you are not able to lock the blade. While I agree it cuts well; it is burdensome to use as you need to continue to push the blade and cut at the same time.

They are not non stick. I just got ones from amazon after lucking to all advertisement and they do stick…

I have a bit of a question, there is a Westcott ruler I have from around thirty years ago. It comes in a sleeve and was manufactured in Korea. It may have an association with the name Hugo Gutierrez, with the address in MD. The cover says 12" Desk Ruler by Westcott. If you guys could just tell me the year it came out and any other details that would be great thanks.

I don't like that I have to hold down the button to use the blade.

Yeah... the blade does not come off like that, or at all. I've fiddled and fiddled with it. Tilted it this way and that way to get it off, nothing. Very disappointed with this.

I purchased mine about a year ago and today I tried it out. It's terrible! Several times the levers snapped and that hurt. The glue nevers comes out smoothly or hot enough.

I've had one of these sharpeners for over a year now and could never figure out how to empty it without a hammer. Thank You! -- you saved this little guy's life.

How to get the blade to stay out and not have to push it out the whole time?

I received this pencil sharpener for a gift in 2020, it is amazing, I just didn't know how to get the shavings out. I never thought of this way of getting them out. Thank you. It is a great product. :)
