So pleased to have got to the ground this season and filmed Baggot scoring. We lost but what a great night that was. The chant was "F*** the cup, we're going up!" and we did. The TV pictures made me look like the oldest person there.

As an Ipswich supporter for the last 50 years plus, this is the first time we have ever had our Manager in serious demand, especially in his early days at the club, as whilst there was interest and job offers were made to Bobby Robson, it was not the internet age and we only heard about this stuff after resolution. Mc Kenna is a highly intelligent man, a gifted communicator, and works hard and is able to think strategically, and can then implement those strategies. All of that is even before we consider his abilities as a football coach, which he has been doing for fifteen years now. And he has a very high work ethic, is consistent, calm and not only values stability, but creates it. We will stay up, and I am thinking 10th to 12th. I have said all along, that he did not come to Ipswich on L1 lightly, and he will not leave us lightly either. I can only see him leaving for the Man Utd or Spurs jobs, and he values the fact he has final say on transfers in and out at Ipswich, and also has the freedom to manage without interference form above. Ipswich have little debt, if any technically, we sold 50,000 shirts in L1, 60,000+ last season, and sold 97% of our home tickets, the best in the Championship, and the 3% was unsold away tickets. Waiting list for season tickets, and we are the only club in Suffolk, and the population has grown significantly in the 22 years since we were last in the PL, and we are about to start building the world class facilities we will need, and are upgrading to Academy Category 1 status. We are not a small club, with a small ground like Luton, Bournemouth or Brentford, as well as all those clubs have done, we have the potential to be challenging at the level Brighton have been at, and who knows from there?
