Exactly!
I did my WGS a couple years ago and when I started wegovy I was at 218 lbs and down to 146 in 5 months. I pulled all the GLP1 genes and found out I am a extreme hyper responder. Genes to look at are GLP1R, TCF7L2, MC4R, FGF21, UCP1, PCSK1 for how someone will respond. My interest in immunology and genetics will keep me from getting into serious trouble if I don't lower the dose. I was always around 140 lbs before dealing with an autoinflammatory disorder that prevented my body from losing weight due to the inflammation in the adipose tissue. Once I started losing weight my body's natural GLP1 kicked in and now I am losing weight too fast.
The definition of success being 5% is kinda bs. Case in point. I started tirzepatide 9 months ago, 5'4, 195lb. I lost 10lb in the first 2 weeks. I believe this was water weight, not fat loss. I haven't lost anything else. Sure I've fluctuated by a few lbs in either direction, but I'm still down that initial 10lb. I have studied extensively to ensure I'm doing all the things, daily exercise, eating well, 1400-1800 daily calories, great sleep habits, well managed stress, intermittent fasting 14-16 hours. It's terribly frustrating to pay so much every month as a low-non resonder. BTW I've been on max 15mg dose 4-1/2 mo
The thing is, celebrities aren’t just using ozempic…they’re abusing it. Abusing any drug will cause the side effect of a gaunt face, as it makes you lose your appetite.
Enjoyed Watching! First time here went straight to find you on TikTok! I’m starting my journey been educating myself after my PCP prescribed my MJ GLP trying several meds, natural WL I’m T2D. This video give me so much hope I’m 58 mom passed from Diabetes complications I feel I have a chance along with discipline and lifestyle changes to be healthy after WL. 🙏🏾
No, It does not help with the carbs!.It actually helps with the fat. Since it lowers the blood glucose levels. That's when the body starts using fats for fuel.
It is hilarious that this fine expert discussion gets interrupted every 2 minutes by a lady advertising a homemade ‘Mounjaro’ that is ten times more effective than Ozempic!!!! I guess that means that since Ozempic leads to an average 15% weight loss, I could expect to lose 150% of my weight!!! Doctors, take note!
I was super afraid to take it because I have stomach issues. Within 20/ 40 minutes of taking my first day all of my symptoms went away instantly. I was actually having pretty bad symptoms and didn’t even realize it!
Bullshit
If you take a high dose it is real….🤦🏾♀️ do your research before posting
Rybelsus 14 mg max dose?
I think there is a placebo aspect to the medicine as well. Before I took my first dose I lost five pounds, because I was already changing my life style. I felt less hungry probably hy projecting myself forward in anticipation of what was to come, if that makes sense?
I noticed the injection site stated to get itchy, red and raised when I started the 10mg dose
Same exactly the same. I believe it's because it's a big dose
7.5 for just itchy like mosquito bite
I’m on .5 and I get the localized redness and itchiness. The itchiness does not go away. I’ve tried using Benadryl cream and I’m about to take shot number three and injection site one and two is still red and itchy.
@ I use 0.1% hydrocortisone ointment on the red spot, It’s gone in 3 days. But surely come Bach with the second injection I normally change injection site but I’m mainly injecting around the belly button in case it leaves a mark
How much did she weigh before starting GLP-1. How much does she lose? How long did it take? I listened to her story but as someone on that journey we want to know where the starting and end points are because she looks amazing.
It's real. Some of my friends have it. Ozempic isn't a diet pill. People abuse it, and they pay with their looks. Not sorry.
Yes, he"s a Robot, or as we at the office like to call him; O - bot
...and you know this, how? Your degree is from, where? You were up all night on your schitty couch, scarfin down stale chee-tos, while plotting to do this, why?
Thankx needed msg
Fast forward to saggy ghost face 😂
This seems a bit like gaslighting to me.. Weve all seen "ozempic" face, dont tell us its not real lady
I did semaglutide last year and lost 18# in 6 months. My biggest was 4# first month. Got off. Just started Tirzepitide, and lost 5# in first week low dose 2.5. I eat healthy, walk, am physical at my work. But seems like Tirzep is a better choice. But I will talk to my provider about doing a sub-clinical dose of 1.25 going forward for a while. I have no appetite and have to force eating.
I seem to be Hyper responsive. Down 10lb in 1st week on 0.25mg! I have PCOS and started at 240lb 5'7".
Soooooo…..what other meds? That was a lot of words to not tell us what’s in the title
Nope!
Did the price go up
That would be great for the insurance to cover weightloss injection because its preventative and need it to keep medical issues in control.
I lost 10.88% in 583 days on August 27th my best loss was 15.08% I am on 10mg of Mounjaro. Should I consider and increase to 12.5 or should I try more exercise first. I know that it's better to lose weight slowly as that tends to help you keep it off. I am a type 2 diabetic and I understand that type 2 diabetics usually also lose less than those that are on this medication and not diabetic. I think I'll make an appointment with my healthcare provider to explore the possibility of increasing from 10 mg to 12.5 and will again try to increase my physical exercise.
I stopped impulsive shopping , smoking and gambling on Mounjaro
Has anyone else checked out dr Tyna Moore? She is amazing in her knowledge and success with these glp-1s. I learned so much from her videos. And she does it with low doses.
Excellent discussion, thank you!
What about switching from semaglutide to tirzepatide? I’ve heard tirzepatide is more effective . Would it help with someone who doesn’t respond to semaglutide?
I’m responding to tirzepatide about the same regarding weight loss, but side effects are much better
My ibs is cured on tirzepatide. I went from living every day since infancy in so much pain to feeling completely ok and having completely normal stools. This is the only diet or drug that has ever given me much relief, let alone a cure
Thank you for busting myths and misconceptions.
What a shame. Fasting is a great tool for clearing out body and mind. Educating yourself on the benefits is a good idea
I'm on Mounjaro and it has saved my life. I wish my insurance company would pay for it for long term usage. As I have very resistant Hashimotos thyroid disease as well as a few other serious comorbities.
What a waste of a video
What if you don't have a gallbladder, is it best not to go on GLP 1
What if you no longer have your gallbladder
Also hypo-respnders may need additional hormone therapy like microdosing estrogen etc. they could have adrenal, parathyroid tumors, cortisol issues. Everyones bodies are SO unique as is everyones health journey. I’ve literally only lost one and a half pounds a week over 14 weeks. Some weeks were actually more some. There was no weight loss. I’m just averaging it out. I hope no one gives up. I’m so happy to hear about staying at lower doses and Microdosing so many people probably would’ve been better off starting and staying lower not everybody but many.
You're right about hormones. My estrogen, dhea and testosterone are really low and corsitol high. I am on 10mg and not losing weight. I also don't have any appetite and food noise suppression. My naturopath suggested few supplements. I am hoping they will improve my hormones and assist with weight loss.
Would like to know how many people have done better on Tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound) compared to Semiglutide (ozempic/Wegovy)? I have been going low and slower on Ozempic but switching to Mounjaro this week. will start at a the lowest dose and stay there as long as i can. I lost 20 lbs over 14 weeks at the lowest dose of Ozempic. still have a ways to go but not giving up. focusing on meeting protein macros, walking 10k a day and drinking enough water each day also staying away from carbs etc.
Hi! Is there an update on Kailey?
Worked for me so you’re wrong
Im saving uo to join watch watchers clinic. I want to lose weight because im an emotional eater.
She doesn’t know about the crazy amazing benefits of autophagy. Poor girl.
Could he look more underwhelmed?
Ouch
If im a hyporesponder (1 pound after 3+ months, currently @ 10 mg Tirzepatide), should i titrate down if i want to stop?
Wow, 1 pound. Hmmm, it has been three months? Are you under 245lbs?
@akelaward6475 My weight is #150, bmi 27; I may not be over 200 but I've definitely gained 30+ pounds rapidly in the last 4 years which has compromised activity and mobility.
I am going to assume that you are running a 500 calorie deficit from your TDEE and doing strength training 3 times a week. Are you insulin resistant? If so, check out Lumen. You can use it to get rid of the insulin resistance.
@@ChristineWilliams-id3owhow tall are you?
@@rachelshepherd3624 Hi, I have the same problem. I am on 10mg but no weight loss for months. I don't have any insulin resistance, vitamins/minerals deficiency, thyroid issues. I walk, go to gym 3 times per week, following high protein calorie deficit diet. I need to lose 20kgs. I don't want to up the dose even though I hardly have any appetite or food noise suppression on the current dose. Any suggestion for a Hypo responder like me? Thanks.
I have been on Mourjaro since November 2022 pre-diabetic I’ve only made it to 7.5 mcg dose I’ve lost 88 lbs. that’s almost 30% weightloss Don’t give up but give up the things that do not serve your new lifestyle. Mine was several things Stress Alcohol Diet that wasn’t making me feel good. I eat a higher protein diet but not everyday I’m living and working towards a better relationship with myself and life! This isn’t for everybody but it’s only going to work with efforts of changing your mind set!
You mean mg right
I am on 10mg and it does not suppress my appetite and hunger anymore.
I have lost 64 pounds on 2.5 mg and continue to lose. I also made major lifestyle changes. I walk 3 miles every day. I do weights at the gym 3-4 days each week. I eat in a calorie deficit and drink 1 gallon of water every day.
I haven’t had any side effects either.
So inspiring, its a tool along with all of those lifestyle changes you've made 🥰
Tirzepititde solved my IBS (diarrhea) issues! Absolute godsend
Good stuff guys, thank you.! ✨
