Tube Replace | Bock 251 Microphone
มุมมอง 6K8 ปีที่แล้ว
I can't believe there's no information or any video around the internet when i was planning to replace my old tube for my BOCK 251 Microphone. For those who are not the audio geek or professional engineer, it is quite worry and scary to open the mic and replace the tube by yourself. SO this video is for you, i hope this video could really help and give you some direction. Good Luck and Enjoy! T...

Great video Andy, best one yet for the Xtreme! I replaced the battery on my Flip 4 a few years ago and it’s still going strong. Took me an hour and $22 for the battery, worth it, this speaker has such great sound and it’s portable again! Thank you!
Brilliant video worked a treat ! Thanks Mna
Bri

Hi is it still waterproof with that battery?
Hello, many thanks for your help of this video tutorial :) It helps me a lot to change and replace my old genuine battery, of 10000mah (but fake information for JBL, so not really 10000 mah inside) for a 5500 mah, with tools sold with it, for 28€ only. With 250 notices on Amazon, it is one of the most reliable batteries. Just been installed today, to see in use what the new autonomy will give... so stay tuned
Thanks so much. Did my speaker today no probs
No need to open the side radiator..just unscrew the right speaker and the battery connector is more easily accessible
Is it waterproof after replacing?
Only one way to find out
How big is the battery 🔋 Few tips before to by the battery
You can check out the video description, I think there is a link to let you find out more about the battery.
Awesome tutorial, thank you so much.
You’re most welcome, hope it helps😉
Thanks for video .
You’re most welcome🤘🏻
Thanks for the guide. I used it today after my original battery life was poor and the battery had swollen. 😎
So glad it helps😃
Thank you for posting, brought my Xtreme back to life!
You’re most welcome, 😉
i always thought it was a 10,000mAh battery
And isn't or not??
At 7:32, you effortlessly had that opaque cover fall into place. However, I was unable to get it on properly. The part where the ribbon connector thing screw on did not want to seat properly. Do you know why that is? Maybe I didn't properly screw the connector to the opaque cover?
Hello, I came to your page looking for answers about my 6176. It is only 2-3 years old, so I do not believe it is one of the tubes (preamp side tube), but I can be wrong. I only use it for vocals, and I never used the compressor side, so compressor is not hooked up. I am unsure if it is working or if I have it connected properly. My chain is tlm 102, 6176, apollo twin mkii quad, MacBook pro. About 2 mths ago I decided to shut my studio down, and that time everything was working great, no problems with anything, but now that I decided to start recording again my mic is not working when hooked to the 6176, so I have to bypass it in the chain to record. When I flip switch from split to join and turn knob to compressor side, and it is still not plugged in, the meter moves when speaking into the mic, but I still have no sound 😠🤯. My question to you or someone who can help is how can I find out if something is wrong, could it be something in the chain (apollo twin I attempted a factory reset), or run some type of a test. That piece of hardware outboard gear was 3k. Thanks in advance.
Spot on, hardest part was the last screw going back in under the zipper. 10/10 👍 hope the battery is as good as the tutorial 🤞🤞🤞
You’re most welcome, hope it helps😉
Great video. My speaker seems to work again! Only slight nit pick... at 7:20 there are 2 screws you didn't put back.
Vero useful! THANK YOU VERY MUCH
oh man, this was great! One time through to success. Also no leftover screws! Thanks a bunch!!!
Thanks to your help I changed the battery in a few minutes, the old battery was about to blow itself up, it was looking like Jabba the Hutt - about six year old, maybe the swap saved me from burning my house down - that's the way a DIY video should be, thanks a lot Andy!
You’re most welcome mate. Glad the video helped😉✨✨
Do you remember if all the screws were the same?
same here, my speakers battery is ancient and this all, purpose, no interuptions is really good
Excellent
You’re welcome
Thank you mate. helped me a lot👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I was going to buy a new speaker. I could just buy the battery, replace it myself and save me a couple of hundred$$. My speaker is in perfect condition still.
Good video, but would it not be easier to access the battery connector by taking the speaker above it out?
Donde puedo conseguir la batería original
Merci pour cette video claire sans blabla, la meilleure que j’ai visionné 👍🏽
Thank you for this helpful video! I was wondering what types of tubes are inside this unit.
the original tube seems so tight. so hard to pull it out..
and how do u take that left screw off from the back when theres this soldered piece on top of it. cant really access that screw
Thanks for stopping by. Not just pulling it out, putting it back is also very difficult. Need patience little by little to put it in. I did not screw off those 2 screws at the end, it’s up to you to do so. You can do it either way so I was too lazy.
@@ANDYTANG104 same i only unscrewed one side . the easy side. but took like me 30min to slowly nudge the old tube out. didnt wanna damage anything. working like brand new now with the new tube :) thanks for your video
@@gcinfamous Yes, the pulling out part is so hard😅 Congrats to the brand new mic again🤘🏻
Thank you I almost bought a new one for $300 $21.99 battery and good as new
Where did you buy the battery?
I did it! Thanks for your video!!!
--Disable and Re-Enable the Internal Battery via program logic-- Hold the JBL CONNECT button beside the power button, and volume up, until the fifth light flashes red. Then plug in the JBL if not already and power it on and do the key combo again to enable the internal battery again. -->This totally fixed my BT Connection issues and where the unit would Abruptly power down when connected via Bluetooth. Also it sound better too like it kinda sounded blown before idk maybe that like my placebo ears. I also did a reset though Bluetooth button and Volume + buttons together for 10 seconds
hi what type of battery is this i need the type so i could order one thanks in advance great job nice video
Thanks for stopping by, you could check out the info in the description box. I brought the battery there. Hope it helps, cheers!
Merci beaucoup !
Terrific thank you
Great video Andy! Thanks to you, I pulled off a battery swap on my son's speaker!! I Saved $ and stay in his cool book!!
