Can just one equation describe the entire history of the universe?
Einstein’s General Relativity relates the curvature of space to what is present inside of it, but the equation has infinite variations. One very general class of spacetimes, however, obeys the same straightforward equation: the Friedmann equation. Just by measuring the universe today, we can extrapolate all the way back to the Big Bang, 13.8 billion years in our past.

One of the most enduring ideas in all the Universe is that everything that exists now will someday come to an end. The stars, galaxies, and even the black holes that occupy the space in our Universe will all some day burn out, fade away, and otherwise decay, leaving what we call a heat death.

In general relativity, a white hole is a hypothetical region of spacetime and singularity that cannot be entered from the outside, although energy-matter, light and information can escape from it. Is it possible that gravity is like the surface tension of water, spacetime may have a certain “surface tension” that when particles becomes small enough act like tiny insects that can walk on water because they do not exceed the surface tension of water? Similarly, when particles reach a small enough size, gravity no longer acts upon them.

Created the framework, used to verify General Relativity, the device that was used to measure CMB radiation, first patent on a laser, the weak entropic principle and the Brans-Dickie theory, is the version of General Relativity, 100 times more accurate and makes it usable beyond Earth. Missed something important. WHY Newton developed the 3 laws. The Three Body Problem. Newtons 3 laws aimed to answer this. 2 problems solved but the exact principles for celestial motion, continued to evade even a whopping 200 IQ equipped, Sir Isaac Newton. In 1889, a challenge was set by King Oscar II of Sweden, with a prize for whoever could solve 'The Three Body Problem', in commemoration of his 60th birthday. French mathematician Henri Poincaré won the competition. Ruining any hope for a full solution, by proving such interactions are chaotic, in the sense that the final outcome is essentially random. in fact, his finding opened a new scientific field of research, termed chaos theory. Lorentz was the person who made chaos theory widely understood. Chaos theory implies a complete solution is impossible. The random nature allows calculated 'probability', that a triple interaction ends in one particular way, rather than another. Then, the entire series of close approaches can be modeled using a particular type of mathematics, the theory of random walks.

    Why don't PHYSICISTS want to get rid of the big MUD noise in optical experiments? Let me suggest for schoolchildren and students on one's own to measure the Universe, dark energy, black holes, etc. To do this, I propose two practical devices. «laser tape measure *+reference distance* 1,000,000 m”» and «Michelson-Morley HYBRID Gyroscope». I am writing to you with a proposal for the joint invention of a HYBRID gyroscope from non-circular, TWO coils with a new type of optical fiber with a “hollow core photonic-substituted vacuum zone or (NANF)” where - the light travels 250000 (In a laser tape measure, the length of the optical fiber is fixed at 1000000 ) meters in each arm, while it does not exceed the parameters 84/84/84 cm, and the weight is 24 kg. Manufacturers of “Fiber Optic Gyroscopes” can produce HYBRID gyroscopes for educational and practical use in schools and higher education institutions. Einstein dreamed of measuring the speed of a train, an airplane - through the Michelson-Morley experiment of 1881/2024, and only then would the experiment be more than 70% complete. This can be done using a fiber optic HYBRID gyroscope. Based on the completion of more than 70% of Michelson's experiment, the following postulates can be proven: Light is an ordered vibration of gravitational quanta, and dominant gravitational fields adjust the speed of light in a vacuum. you can make scientific discoveries; in astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, higher theoretical physics,... (We are not looking for ether, we will see the work of gravitational quanta) The result is a «theory of everything» in a simple teaching device and a new tape measure for measuring the universe.

    Describe the tidal effect upon a raindrop.

    • @mrhassell
      @mrhassell 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The tidal force, a tide-generating force, is a gravitational effect that stretches a body along the line towards and away from the center of mass of another body. Like galaxy black hole to planet interaction, or a butterfly beating its wings resulting in a storm, the only way to model the effect of a raindrop in tidal force, is through statistical calculations made in 'probability' and in application of the theory of random walks, with fixed points of calculations, plotted along an axis. Probabilistic predictions are used to predict the weather in a week from now, meteorologists have to account for the probabilities of all possible types of weather in the intervening days, and only by composing them together can they get a proper long-term forecast. Using randomness to provide a statistical solution, is the descriptive answer to your enquiry.

    I think it’s finite. If it was Infinate how could there have been a big bang? Big bang is an event in time. If the universe were infinate there should have been a beginning. The universe should be eternal. We know that’s not the case. And as to what the universe is expanding into I guess it is whatever was there before the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang there was no space and no time and no matter. That’s hard to wrap your mind around. I’m an adherent to Conformal Cyclic Cosmology made popular by Sit Arthur Penrose who is one of the smartest people the human race has ever produced.

    20:02 the statement contains two errors: 1. it assumes that the universe has not already proven itself to be finite, for, if it had a beginning, it is not infinite, and it would not be eternal, either. 2. The universe is not infinite since it exists (and the same goes for eternity, if it changes, it is not eternal). The argument is, to physically exist, something needs bounds. Infinity is boundless by definition, so it is not something, hence it is nothing, it does not physically exist. I like to say that infinity is the background nothingness in which everything exists (as nothing can contain everything). The same goes for eternity, which is the background changelessness in which all change occurs. Notice that I did not refer to 'time', which is not a physical property. Time is a tool that we invented to track change (change is the physical property, and it does not need time units to change). Humans have misconstrued time, thinking that it is a component of the physical world, when it is not. The same goes for space units. You do not walk 10 meters in 10 seconds, they are all imaginary. You reference to something else has changed a certain amount at a certain rate, both independent of space and time reference units. Your space and time reference units could be anything. If there is only one universe and it ceases to change, time stops until it begins to change again (which it could not do, having no internal or external catalyst for change). If you took up no space, you are nothing (either zero or infinity, take your pick). You would then truly be 'one with the universe' (which can only happen if you do not exist, sorry, Buddha, it is not something to strive for). This is why you cannot 'travel' backwards through time -- time is not a landscape. What you want to do is travel backwards through change. There is no paradox with backwards change travel as there is with backwards time travel (the Grandfather Paradox), which should have been a red flag that you were not thinking correctly about time in the first place. As for paradoxes, we still have one for something coming from nothing (the beginning of the universe), which means we are not thinking correctly about something and nothing. Just a head's up there.

    You cannot make an assertion calling it a good estimation, We have no idea how big our universe is because we are restricted by light, EW can only make reference in size to our observable universe as science does, stop trying to come across as scientific when your making claims no different to the god claims going around, You have no data to make an accurate assessment on the universe's size. 94 billion light years across is absurd. At least you get the shape right though, Lawrence Krauss reckons our universe is flat. At least your not as absurd as he is.

    Use a narrator with a slight British accent who sounds like Samuel West and your videos will be much more successful and appeal to a much broader audience. People can’t stand American narrators - other than Morgan Freeman and Peter Coyote
