A nasty storm was heading into Albuquerque the morning we departed, so unfortunately we don't have any footage of takeoff as our priority was getting out of the area while safe to do so! On our way across the desert, we overheard another flight heading west...
On June 7 2022 we started our journey from Coast to Coast in our Cessna 182. Fly along with us on the first leg of our trip from Los Angeles to Albuquerque!

I own a 182 planning on an xc to Resa's and Nashville to visit friends any pointers? Longest xc I have done is Mexico and Oregon

This is very cool. My dad owned this airplane from 1978-1980. I see you flew today at KTUS, I hope everything was ok.
Very cool that the plane is still flying. I bet I’ve handled some of your dad’s paperwork in the maintenance records! Today on take off, the airspeed was acting erratically and then went dead basically as soon as we were off the ground. Maintenance personnel had it fixed quickly and we were on our way. All safe and sound.

I see what this guy means about the music. Personally, I prefer voiceover that explains what’s going on. Anything unusual that happens during the flight, the plan, etc. Stock music you can get for free on TH-cam TH-cam videos is so cringey. And I don’t use the word cringe often anymore. What a great adventure for you! I live in Texas and my son and I keep planning different coastal trips. So I still appreciate the effort!
Less music and more cockpit
I watched the video with no sound, just like I turn off the sound when I watch pro football. The announcer's breathless pronouncements don't tell me anything I can't see with my own two eyes.

Thank you! I started learning to fly in 2014 but I didn’t stick with it after logging about 20 hours. I picked it back up in late 2020 and earned my PPL about a year later. I love it more every day. Stick with it, keep studying and be safe!
