Can the pressure cause a cold start up of my logs to have a eye burning bad smell and at times sets off the smoke detector. After it runs for awhile and cycles off then back on I don't usually notice it

Thanks for the video. This explains the exact problem I'm experiencing. The video would have been great if it had more info on the causes and solutions though. I will proceed with a thorough cleaning of the tubes and orifices first then, if necessary, will look at the gas valve as the culprit.

My problem is no propane is going through to even light the piolet light it's a brand new unit, we checked and propane is flowing to unit just not going through. What could be our problem? Thank you

I have a problem the fire will be burning fine then it starts to sound like a jet engine for about 10 to15 seconds it might stop or might not until i shut it off, the fire still burns and looks fine just sounds like a jet what could that be ? 🤔

I purchased the 30 inch split oak model from Hansen wholesale. $356 dollars for 6 fake clay logs + $570 for a cheap thin metal pan burner w/ Chinese made components. Once set up, its underwhelming especially compared to a real wood fire. Only 12" tall flame. 1/2 inch gas pipe had adequate pressure. This is what it is. For less money you could get a 27" computer monitor to sit in your fire place and loop mpegs movies of a burning wood fire-- and get better visuals and just as much heat. What a racket! Reminds me of PT Barnums dictum-- "theres one born every minute"... and I am the one from 3:47 PM on 12/31/13.

good explanation,but how you solve that pressure problem? I am having the same problem my burners go off a few minutes latter.
