for some reason my catapult doesnt shoot but does use up the boulders, anyone know why?

this trap doesnt work at all, spent over an hour with 2 diff tames and they just dont go in, only avoid it

the dinos are smart now so you just gotta leave part of the trap unbuilt lure him in then run around and place the final parts i use dino gates then place foundations in the corners so he is forced to look at me

Doesn't work. Karki does not go in trap for ages and then you cannot hit it with the catapult no damage at all gg

Use a cannon, catapults will not register unless your looking all the way down and off to the far east of egypt.

can you use the cannon with this build?

You all understood. Caterpult turret is bugged. On asa it wont shoot. So good luck not being able tame crabs

EDIT: I've gotten some reports that the crabs aren't being very cooperative on Aberration and the traps aren't working. I tamed some Spinos and I can also agree, the AI does NOT like going near traps. I'll see what I can do about figuring out how the Karkinos trap is going to work if the structures are the issue! It seems like there's quite a few bugs on Ab, including catapult turret not registering, so we'll have to give the Devs time to work out any issues. Thank you for the feedback everyone! <3 It's not included in the video due to my time crunch, but the required food for taming is Exceptional Kibble, Spoiled Meat, Raw Meat, or Raw Fish Meat. I know I'm late to the party but I just got back to play because aberration is coming tomorrow First I have to say this is the best explanation of how the taming effectiveness works I had found so far on TH-cam nice job Also I noticed that in the video appears when you attack high hp creatures like racers you can consume much more flames, so I'm guessing turtles, racers and Diplo's would be great for me And seems to be that fighting getting damaged doesn't lower the effectiveness only the 90seconds timer you mentioned Thanks for the heads up Really appreciate it Nice video amazing work Ps... This is a great video but just saying, you never actually tell us what you’re doing there w the taming process. What controls what attack how are you absorbing the flame etc.
