@@chrisheffernan3998 you are correct mate. Lots of freshwater crocodiles in this river. It has weirs so very rare to get salties.

Hey mate, just found your channel and really like your stuff! I used to go to Ollera heaps, and have actually camped at the High Tide Camp when they first re opened it! Im headed back to camp up the Northern Beach with a few friends this weekend to fish and crab that northern creek - thanks for the good little tour - ive shared your video amongst my mates. Looking forward to new adventures mate!

Hey Zac, great video and looks like a lot of fun! Were any of the creeks you crossed on the way inyo Bathurst Bay salt water, or were they all fresh water? I'm thinking more about rust than crocodiles.
@@gregwilliamson6247 hi mate, only a very small one right before you cross into the beach. At low tide it is very shallow. Nothing to worry about rust wise. Definitely recommend getting up there for a look, it’s an amazing place.

The long gorge pool just above that waterfall you swam at and the waterfall 200m past it that you flew the drone to are definitely worth checking out. I walked along the top of the left hand rock wall to get there

Good fun! Been meaning to go back with a mountain bike. I recently bought a Kings inflatable kayak. Not expecting much, but it looks like a good spot to give it a crack. Beautiful scenery and good you saw all that nature. Great inspo. Thanks for sharing. 🐲🐛🦋🍃

I found barte frere a lot tougher. It was never ending. 5 hours to climb Halifax. 6.5 for bartle frere

@@Livin_Adventures Yeah I camped in the shelter. I brought a tent with me but was lucky I didn't have to use it as there was a lot of wind and rain and leaches

Hi, yes I had to make custom brackets and also reverse the brackets it came with as it would not fit in the garage due to the lift on the cruiser.

Awesome hike! I'm really unfit, however, I reckon one day I'd love to go for a little hike up there and camp the night as a beginner. Thanks for sharing. The weather is a bit nicer these days up here, after such a hot summer. :)
Definitely enjoying the cool change! It would be a great spot for an overnighter, easy for a beginner with all the waterholes to stop and refresh on the way. Thanks for watching

Awesome you will have the best time. Best tip is take your time. So many people just rush to the next camp. There is plenty of time each day to make it to camps (assuming you will do over 4 days) . The is a place called blue lagoon that is just off the track before you get to Zoe bay, it’s the last creek if you are doing north to south. Follow the creek up for about 50m. You won’t be disappointed. Enjoy 😊
