Their Pedal Steel Guitarist Scotty is the reason I played Pedal Steel Guitar for various Southern Gospel Groups from Kansas, Nebraska to West Virginia. All over the Midwest. The Cheeks are fantastic people. I fear most in the photo has passed on. I took a huge interest in Piano too and have played as a fill in and substitute many times over the past 20 years or so. I was probably around 10 years old (1973~) when I first heard them at 29th Ave Southern Baptist Church in East Gary, Indiana before the city changed its name back to Lake Station (1976). I miss those days!❤

Write a good song criticizing big government, and the establishment clandestinely 'burns you'; write a low effort song promoting gender flvidity and the liberals will reward you with endless wealth and fame. If you like this song, you might like a 5 CD compilation with an art book called "Atomic Platters", published about 20 years ago. For Janet Greene's songs, in the 21st century context, you could replace fascism and communism with liberalism; they are all forms of statism.
