A gal who's been enthusiastic about photograhing for over a decade now. I started with Nikon D3200, then moved to a Nikon D5200 and there's where I've stayed for now.
I love big and small. Macro of the little things. Sky for the colors of it, stars and northern lights. And everything in between.
Based in Finland, I get to experience all four seasons. And I love it!

These last couple of weeks have truly made my summer, even though it has turned more towards autumn already. The whole summer I wished and hoped to catch a lynx (I love them). I knew they live in the surrounding forests around here, but I had no idea where. And then one walks right past one of my cameras. And we got a raccoon dog too! Funny how these two animals now emerge, even though I've pretty much had the cameras in the same places for months. I was almost moving these devices to their winter locations already, but now I won't. I want to see more of this lynx if possible.

Moose are on the move. We have single ones. We have a "family" of them, though I think the male is just after the mother for mating purposes. It's nice to see some hares again.

It was definitely worth it to leave very early in the morning to the fields with the drone. I set it up to fly and these are the views it gave me. Beautiful morning fog and sunrise on the horizon.

It's been a little quieter around my trail cameras during this last month. I think the moose have moved more towards their mating grounds and the little foxes have left the nest. But at least this one beautiful Finnish Forest Reindeer gives as a great showdown of his big antlers. Less happened by my trail cameras during this second half of the July. I have this old and a bit scary forest at my reach. Each time I hang out there, I imagine how mysterious, almost fantasy-like, the surrounding would look with a bit of color-editing. Some little birds feeding of some left over seeds from winter feeding spot. First warm day of the year, birds are busy with building their nests and singing through all morning. Hi Laura, they are nice timelapses, especially the Northern Lights scene. The daytime lapses would be even better if de-flickered. I've been trying to solve the flicker issue when using the D5200 ( in aperture priority ) for a while, mostly using LRTimelapse. I only got mediocre results. I recently installed Davinci Resolve and used their deflicker filter. The results were so much better after being de-flickered. My last video has some sunset timelapses if you would like to see the results.
