Thanks for the guide, a lot of useful things explained. I would have liked a bit more chat about the different axes however, because there is more than one type of Atrox axe. Would have been nice to know your thoughts on the different ones, as well as other axes (since you give them an honorable mention yourself).

Ranged weapon: take an autogun with Crucian Roulette, empty the mag and switch weapon while reloading on 0 ammo count for a massive dump of +Crit

i can recomend shotgun instead of bolter - the second ne have o long animation. Using shotgun you can easy stop some elite animations rlly fast

Day 750: Still no dagger with Lacerate. I'm starting to think that they are a myth......the same as female Ogryns.... Great build write-up, and one which I look forward to using when I can!

I wouldn't consider the Zealot to be a frontline tank, I think he's more frontline DPS. Find an Ogryn to hug, and start swinging.

Reminds me of that tau in that fire warrior game that can kill chaos space marines with knife.

Thanks for the build share! No matter what weapon I use, I always gravitate back to the knife, it's too fun with it's fast attacks and mobility. Plus, there's really nothing quite as joyous as running at full speed with the charged attack ready to plunge. Truly, "local man too religious to die" energy

This is essentially the sly marbo build, except you're sly marbo's preacher cousin.

Thy Wrath Be Swift can be useful for other builds, like the Thunderhammer build as it lets you not get interrupted building up heavy swings (stops you getting swarmed to death before you get the swing going).

Thank you so much for making this build! It's sad that the melee-specialist role of this class is out-performed by Veterans when you choose a typical eviscerator/flamer build. If you want to feel like a mass-murderer with genocidal tendencies then I highly recommend playing this crazy build 10/10

Does Lacerate still exist as a perk? Can't seem to ever see one in the shop.

Yours is the first video I saw on this and thank you. I've been running it from like level 12 and recently got a bleed dagger which just made this so smooth. The build let me get away with so much garbage in a T3 recently.

this build is by far the most broken i have tried unless they will nerf this pretty hard then this build will literally makes you a human shield wall for any kind of mobs except snipers coz they are spawns of hell from the arse! i could solo waves of patrol mobs without losing a single HP

Thank you for making it clear in the first 3 minutes that it was a clickbait so I don't need to waste my time with this. By the way, did you know that when snow falls on your roof and you cover the roof from 97% therefore you only allow 3% of the snow to fall down on the roof, your roof is then 97% smaller? Zealot is broken as its USLESS till end game

100 hours on Zealot so far and this is the best build out there by far. The synergy is way too strong for this build.

Great idea! Is this also done before the >100 toughness bug? Can't remember which day that was patched but that would make this even better than is shown.

yeah having one broken talent point selection means the char is broken because thats not why you should even have a choise or do you honestly believe gaming is about having 2 noob traps and 1 good choise per tier, you think that is game design ? you thin k thats how games are supposed to be ? you think thats balance ? you think thats why you get to choose ?

Pretty sure looking at the the hits you're taking the toughness mods are multiplicative not additive. Still super tanks as your video shows just not immortal like your title would suggest

Hm don't know tried this build with an Krit axe but I loose a lot health sadly no knife so far but my psyker has the perfect dagger shame no chest or any chance to give it to my zealot

Thankfully found a two-hander chainsword with Shred so I can do it with a weapon I love, but I will definitely keep an eye out for a knife!

The thunderhammer special with a charged heavy on literally one trashmob also gives you the healing penance I'm pretty sure, though that requires some setup as well.
