Ice Climbing the North Face of Gothics, Adirondacks

Climbing Mt. Russell and the Red Rocks

Took the mountaineers route up Russel starting from Whitney Portal. Snow pack was pretty heavy. Went up the Solar Slabs on Rainbow Mountain in the Red Rocks. Conditions were perfect. Filmed with GoPro Hero 4 Silver and GoPro Hero 7 Black.
Climbing the Trap Dike on Mount Colden, Adirondacks

Hiked over Avalanche Lake to the Trap Dike at the base of Mount Colden in Avalanche Pass. Ice climbed/hiked up the Trap Dike to the summit. Filmed with GoPro Hero4 Silver, GoPro Hero7 Black, and iPhone 8 Plus.

Impressive stuff. Just did Trap Dike a few weeks ago and thought "I'd never want to be here in the winter," but you guys may have changed my mind. Is there any pro between you both or are you just tethered together?
Winter climbs are where its at! We didn't end up using pro here because there was 5-7 feet of snow and we felt comfortable. But you may need to simul-climb and place pro on the waterfall sections depending on the year/conditions. I'd get someone experienced to go along with you or do some lower grade stuff first (not that this is a high grade, but it would require a rescue effort if someone got hurt).

I literally cried the last of my six days on the mountain there. Maybe it was the three beer I slammed at the ravens nest, but it was hard mowing I had to go back to real life. Special olace
