Dai disappearance after the black core explosion is likely an homage to the one hero that come to mind when we think legendary sword. King Arthur, he also carry a sword he is the only one able to use, just like Excalibur can only be removed from the stone by one worthy Dai's sword only allow to be unsheathed when needed. Further Excalibur was named Calibur before getting broken and reforged, just like Lon beruk had to repair Dai's sword after his defeat to Vearn. The Arthurian legend end with arthur dragged to the magical land Avalon, a place out of reach for mortals so that he can heal his wounds, and was said to return when the kingdom would need him. Dai is likely held in Celceta (the sky/spirit world) to recover. And finally what does "Sword Monument" that we saw since the start of the show in every episode end looks like ? Yeah. who knows whenever they make an anime for the Avan Prequel manga, Kendipity reaction serie to dragon quest might return ... PS : thanks for doing the whole show it was a blast.

So apparently the writer of dragon quest dai intended to continue the series with the Makai arc. It takes place 5 years after the final arc. Vearn, Velzar and an unknown third party all made a bet as to who can take over the surface world thats the reason why both of them turned to stone when they were defeated. Dai creates a new team of dragon riders, Crocodine, Larhart and a new character. People speculate that the third participant in the bet is a human to fit the whole human,dragon and darkling theme.

Congratulations on completing Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai! There's actually an ongoing prequel manga based on Avan and Hadlar. We get to see their fight, which is so cool!

For Dai's Ryumajin form, he have more human blood than initial Dragon Knight due to his mother, so his Ryumajin form is more human like. For Vearn Sovereign Supreme form he explained himself why it took this form. So yeah but It's perfect that way for Dai it make perfect sense and still menacing. For Killvearn come back it actually a good call, the twist was well place and made sense. No living thing live out of magma, so the little one being the real Killvean, surviving the face off vs Avan then coming back was really crazy. And due to that it really put forward that EVERYONE, good of evil had an impact in the show, and that for the villain they are never what they seem to be. Happy to see your journey through this anime. Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai really changed me especially the last Popp 's speech. Damn it was legendary 😂🤣

Mirai is not only his sister’s name, but it also means future. That’s why the english translation opted to cal it Mirai of the Future. It has a double meaning. He’s literally seeing his own future and the future of others (Mirai in a literal sense, his other older family members in the sense that his present is their future)

I remember I was so sick with the flu the week I got a CD set with these episodes and they’ll always be my special episodes that define the show for me. It’s funny because it was a random pick and it didn’t include the first few episodes. So these were my literal introduction to the show 😂

Love the theories lol that's why this manga is crazy. It's very simple but got VERY clever mysteries that do impact the story going forward. Vearn is playing 4D chess with this gimmick 🤣

One things VERY important to note is that since the core of the palace can't use Vearn's magic power to stabilized itself, it keep floating higher and higher... And higher. Amazing réaction also 😁 And when Dai lost control of himself for a moment, it was not for nothing that's all imma say

Funny thing : I dont know if you know Jojo's bizarre Adventure, but compare Maximum and Joseph Joestar: they are the SAME 😂😂 Same behavior, same voice actor, same english Line when they are surprised, and same moustache XD

The things here was that the goal of the hadlar royal guard was to beat the disciple of Dai. Hadlar helping Dai and being on of them have nothing to do with it. Their goal wasn't achieved. If Hym would have won, what he's doing is up to hym 😂 but yeah it was very important for Hym since that is the only reason why he was alive.

For Avan's past, there is a manga called Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai - The hero Avan and the Dark Lord of Hell Fire, which ended recently, that tales ALL of Avan's Adventure aka its a prequel to the original manga. If you're interested you can check it out its as good as the original

This anime is my favorite of all time. You wont be disappointed just remember it might seem simple or tropey at the beginning but its the deepest and most thoughtful .... And badass, cant forget that

Nice reaction, so many good moments to come! Hym's first time protecting Popp, was his first appearance. When Zaboera tried to kill Dai and Popp when Popp was carrying Dai because of the fight with Hadlar as a superior being for the first time.

YOU ARE ON A JOURNEY FOR STRAIGHT UP FIRE. This is my favourite anime of all time, and I'm glad you've decided to watch it. Just going to give you a head's up, it's going to be a little weird for the first 5 eps, espeically 4. Beyond that point, GAS. There's also 2 movies, I really recommend the second one.

The final arc got quite the amount of twist and turn, for what's boil down to "Let's Raid the Demon Lord Castle" and we've yet to reach the Main Event. I'll just say this about Vearn as a main antagonist, there is a reason even after all this years he is highly viewed as a Top villain in any shonen ever. This old Stubborn man is partially responsible for why the "Demon lord" chilling in his castle awaiting the hero is such a big Cliché in Japanese fantasy based story. In many ways dragon quest Dai is full of Cliché, Villain turned ally, the Hero (Avan) coming back from the dead when he is needed, and so on. But those plotpoint are always given proper respect and care. Vearn is no different, he is the Final boss in every sense of the word, and he'll be given all the Hype and drama that such a title deserve. PS : Props to you for Calling out Lahart right before his reveal, someone been paying attention haha

Even with all its flaws it still is my fav romcom of all time im so glad you got to finish it! Cant wait for you to react to more shoujo / romance also def reccomend reading the manga from the begining the show cuts some stuff here and there and sometimes full chapters

Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun!: Overall synopsis of this Anime is simple for the 3 seasons so-far? It starts-out with a lonely demon king whose at the age of a grandfather whose aid helps him adopt a human teenager who does end lovely his new grandfather who makes sure his grandson goes-without-nothing. Because the Demon king is also the principle of a demon high school, enrols his human son with power of a magic ring that activates when ever he is endanger and used to hide his human existence! Now the context of the main story is for him to complete his schooling undetected as a human awhile making friends who accept him for being himself. Their are now 3 seasons of at least 20 episodes each of about 24 minutes run-time...way too many episodes by drawing-out their characters personalities that go-off story-line context and may take 3 episodes to get-on-tract again. When they do their are set-goals for him and his friends to achieve who are by now called the miss-fit class as he the human grandson now has two personalities when he is serious and charming and the other, when he is goofing-off have fun with-out care and so his power attracts saboteurs (< French word) to his life and friends as well "unrequited love interests" (He has NO girlfriend) the opposite genders. (Note: Anime alike shounan are based on middle schoolers of Japan school-life between 15 and 18 not the Western world of 15 years and below as 15 is the legal age for them to leave school!) where you to attend with immature schoolers based Anime characters, that's written very well and means its going to be boring for over 15 years of age and alike a soapy-shot they do a lot of anime face-close-ups. But most Anime this usually have the main characters moved-on in age and appearance including the immature behaviour relating to their ages...unfortunately by third season of this anime creator procrastination! If anyone reads this they will notice I have not given-away individual story-line plots or character style changes? (7)

Hadlar and Popp were the last ones in the flames, and they are also the two characters who undergo the most significant development. In my opinion, Hadlar’s conclusion and character development are the most satisfying of all anime villains. I loved the reaction!

I went to see this movie with my grandmother. After my grandmother left the movie theater, she told me many stories about wartime. She has already gone to heaven, but this movie is a precious memory for me. thank you.

This movie is one of my favorites in terms of anime movies. It's so sad, but also beautifully done. More context, this is set during and within Hiroshima during World War two and dealing with the hardships of then. If you know about the history of Hiroshima....than yeah this movie is real sad.

And the final arc begins. Stay tuned its greatness🗡️
