Review based on 32 nights spent in Jan-Feb 2022 Booking was for 30 nights with an option to extend. On the 25th night the Hotel was informed of a 2-night extension of stay to which the property agreed. However, on the 30th day, while I was leaving for skiing at 1000H, the Hotel wanted the room vacated. When asked why this was not informed in the last 5 days, the management had no answer and a lot of fake smiles. Room 301. Tiny with a tinier bathroom. Heating is woefully inadequate. Towels are torn from larger pieces. Window panes are cracked. Thick lawyer of dust and garbage under the bed. House intercom never worked, even after repairs. Water. Hot water is available, though the tap needs to run for about 5 mins. No cold water to mix when you return from a long day of skiing at 1600H. Food; Well prepared, though floating in oil. Tea served in paper cups. Coffee in never available but can be self-made from powder and milk. Room Service. Only between 1600H to 1800H. some waiters will refuse to take the order. If accepted, the food may or may not arrive. Dish TV. A request to subscribe to additional channels on payment had to be repeated 3 times. Staff. The Reception Manager avoids eye contact in case the guest has to be greeted. Any request is enthusiastically acknowledged by everyone around, but never acted on. The staff is very conscious of their department and you will be told, “This is not my job” if the request made to the wrong person. Just like a government office. You will be disturbed everyday by staff wanting to check if your heating is on or off and you will be ordered to take your meals as soon as they are ready. But they all have fake smiles plastered on their faces. Entrance. The porch floor is slick polished granite and is extremely dangerous when wearing snow coated shoes. This is the hospitality received whilst spending 30 nights for the second year in the same room.

Pet Scan !!! The dreaded side of cancer and chemotherapy. This is something I hate the most The worst is that due to chemotherapy your nerves are invisible and thinned. So when the cannula has to be inserted it’s the hardest time. The attendant keeps hitting your hand till she finds the right nerve and then she:he finds it “ you scream fur to pain terrible pain”. Then the medicine that moves through your throat to your body down burns like a fire 🔥 inside and catches up your head with an ache. The process today was almost for 3 hrs and 15 hrs fasting. And mind you the burning sensations stays with you all day through that you want everything cold to drink I still tried to entertain myself through the foul mood depression irritable behaviour and pains. Happy that Joy was there with me. Sharing my entertainment with myself
