Hi Nancy, the fees vary greatly from property to property. I this show they range from roughly 100€ to 180€ a month. However, council tax is really low in the area with the properties in the show having rates from 375€ to 500€ a year. When combined, these are no more than the council tax in most other countries but you get a pool, gardens and sometimes other facilities included.

@@holiday-homes-spain thank you for your reply. That is really reasonable. Here in Canada maintenance fees for apts/condos commonly (at least in my area) can be around $600 (Cdn) a month. And that's without a pool or 24 hr security. Very expensive. (Taxes around $2400/year in addition to that).

Dear Kate, there are just ground floor and first floor apartments remaining in this development I am afraid. We do have many top floor aparments in other developments though. On these apartments the other ongoing cost is the council tax (IBI) which is EUR 500 a year. There is also a small garbage collection tax but I need to get confirmation of the figure. Asides from that, it is just your utility bills. We can also email you a guide to the buying process and purchase costs if that helps.

Dear Annette, I am afraid this property has sold now as it was posted 6 months ago. There is now a similar property for sale in the complex which overlooks the pool area. This has an asking price of €260,000 but is in need of refurbishment. I think there could be a small discount to be had on the asking price and the cost of the work would roughly the difference between this asking price and the price of the refurbished property. The kitchen could easily be opened up to make an open-plan kitchen dining area which would be nicely separated from the lounge by the staircase. We know people who can do the work.
