The player base has growth substantially, competitive tcgs cost money. Yugioh is fat more expensive and that has and is doing fine. The subject was about sealed investing not the game itself. Events are increasingly selling out the game will do just fine

The children yearn for the mines and also cracking fab boxes, 👌 I think if people's approach changed it would really benefit the game

FAB cracking cases was the single worst experience I've ever had from TCG's as a whole. I opened multiple cases from multiple sets when I got into FAB The reason more people aren't doing what you're saying is necessary is it's not a good experience to open box after box and case after case...... And look at a handful of CF commons and nothing even close to a big hit.

The EV is definitely in the M and L slot. The CF commons is a feel bad however they need to be adjusted as they don't feel special more so bulk

100% it'll take a long time but if you're in it for the long run and enjoy along the way then it's all good 👌.

Correct, and the prices and limited availability of some staples is a significant entry barrier. Especially by now, this game is so competitive that only optimised decks are worth playing in events.

I didn't miss the elephant in the room. The player base is growing. This isn't what the video is about. It's about collectors leaving. It's actually the contrary. Players are joining and playing, but collectors leave. Numbers worldwide at armoury level and event level continue to grow. I don't disagree that prices are very high. The entry level for this game is high. It's lower than it was, however, 2 years ago, but specifically, generic Ms are very expensive. However, 2 just got banned which does help. I think most going into this game have accepted that. I'd rather this than yugioh where you spend $600 on a deck for it to all be reprinted 6 months later, you lose all your money then have to spend another 600 because that deck is now irrelevant. Lorcana and one piece are cheaper to play but they don't have the competitive levels fab does. There is a reason why it's the Premier competitive tcg.

For sure, fab is it's own game but comparison can be used with many things

Sorcery is almost 3, accounting for kickstarter. Only 2 sets and 4.5k reddit followers. Altered is 6 months old accounting for kickstarter and had over 5k reddit followers. Nothing against sorcery, but its most likely due to having so many options these days. There is only so much money in the pool belonging to people who like tcgs. It's simply dilution of funds across tcgs. Too many options within the game and too many options outside it.

naah, but imagine quite a few. the peops that dare to touch new tcg often corelate on the newer games. value in sorcery is high indeed, but collecting one set a year and some singles that might see more play until game grows seems like it shouldnt have the biggest impact on fab. im not there tho, so just a guess ^^ I think tho that soo many value oriented collectors are missin out so much nowadays. the market is great imo.

btw, its always mtg first peops 90/100 right? we need more ygo people its just like that. suits fab muuuch better. nobody really collected ygo sets but cards that are strong, cool looking and rare??? give em all to us :D

100% pretty cards always, especially Marvels. The art is what drew me into fab, and they just keep getting better

@@poketinking yes! Since the dragons I’ve shifted my focus to marvels. Those, the angels, and the mistveil marvels are all super beautiful cards.

Yeah Marvels are really special, those dragons are unreal. I never understood people seeing Marvels and not wanting to collect Fab
