Quality of Care NL partners with health care providers, researchers, analysts, policy makers and program managers to conduct research on a range of topics across many disciplines related to the provision of health care in Newfoundland and Labrador.

By providing education and raising awareness among both health care providers and patients, Quality of Care NL encourages and supports a collaborative, evidence-based, patient-centred decision-making process about treatment.

Our partnership with Choosing Wisely Canada enables the promotion of established national guidelines and recommendations that cross all disciplines to support the reduction of low-value health care, including, unnecessary tests and treatments, particularly where harms outweigh benefits.
