That's the silliest comment I've read on TH-cam this year. "Wait, before I start this project, I've got to take this other project apart to get some hardware." Perfectly reasonable use of time.

@@-fuk57 Since you don't understand simple English; I am saying that screws are ALSO used where they are PUT IN and then REMOVED. If they strip on removal they are worthless. For example: Concrete forms. I use screws OVER AND OVER on different forms as I go. Saving money AND time.

Hi and thanks for the comment. No need to purchase a new bit - the UltraPro fasteners come with at least one bit depending on the package size purchased. Our GrabberPros (sales reps) also have extra bits available when needed. The LOX bit is featured on several Grabber fasteners - not just the UltraPro, so you can use the bit for multiple applications. We recommend you trying the UltraPro. It is truly different than any other wood fastener. A little more about our LOX recess - The precision fit means the bit will stay engaged with the screw with much less work on your part (and no magnetic parts necessary). LOX screws feature 8 contact points which means the screws can take a lot more torque than other wood screws and won’t strip out. UltraPro screws will also easily back out if needed. LOX recess was designed to work with today’s high-torque screw guns.

Oh no, the bit that comes with the screws anyway? And if you had to buy one the $5 is too much to ask if it is really a superior product?
