In this recording Rosie sings ‘That’s How It Is’ with Joe Seymour and his orchestra, but Nelson Riddle most likely recorded this with Rosie, but due to separate record contracts, he couldn’t have gotten credit. Rosie also sings this tune on her television show (with Frances Bergen & Matt Dennis) under the same arrangement

The Rosemary Clooney Show with the delightful and gallant Dorothy Kirsten (1957) This is from a 16mm film in my archive, Grove’s and Grooves, that is very rare, considering the fact there’s no other version of it in circulation (atleast of my knowledge) (the full show is featured on my channel as well, but I figured it’d be nice if I posted a few of the songs for y’all to enjoy !)

Thank you - my mother and I both love Robert Horton!
A story about a real refugee arriving in USA. One that brings something to the table not just gorging at the feast! Charming
Janet Leigh also. Great talents both. 💕
Fantastic! Loved her growing up.
Irving Berlin wrote this song specifically for her, and Mitch Miller directed the recording at Columbia.
I had the great fortune of seeing Ms. Rosemary Clooney at the Paramount Theater in Seattle about a year or so before she passed. She was spellbinding! She made a 3000+ seat theater seem like an intimate setting. During a couple of soft, quiet ballads I swear you could have heard a pin drop on the carpeted floor of that cavernous theater. It is one of my most cherished memories of live performances. People get so flutterish about her nephew George's good looks but Rosemary's brother Nick, George's dad, was quite the looker in his day too! It's a real case of the apple not falling far from the tree!
She was the greatest, so were The Hi-Lo's

Rosemary had a beautiful voice and was such a classy lady!
Magnifique!…😊
Back in the early 80’s I saw my first of several Rosemary Clooney shows. She sang this song solo.
Wonder !!!
For somebody who arrived with only the clothes on her back, she sure has a lot of dresses!
That goof ball shouting manically at the dog was really annoying.
Phone call from IKE 134:51 . Wish it was me .

“Peggy Lee wrote this tune.” lol
Cute movie. The discontented ones can switch channels.
lol on the ending
I loved the ending . Anna sings " Home is where the heart is . . ." from Pliny the Elder
Funny
Great
Yeah DAD you always get the girl!!
GREAT movie! I love stories like this and I really thank you for sharing it:) Blessings:)
A beautiful message for today. Lovely Rosie.
"Hip Hep Hop". The square was ahead of his time.
Poor dog
Rosemary was from Kentucky. I had always wanted to meet her. Wasn't she beautiful?
Forgettable story, great singing, and the guy who thinks he's training his dog is extremely annoying.
Por favor con subtitulos 😊
Didn't like the way they treat the dog😢
Me either
Is this colorized? All of the faces have the same color.....a tell-tale sign.
Thank you very much 🎉
Pa la mierda que tienen que cobtar
Flawless performance by all. Plus, how did they make the dog act in the scenes?
The dog was very well trained and performed on TV many years. It must have taken years for him not to react as you would expect when he heard his trainers voice telling him he was a good dog when he didn't sit up or come running up the steps.
Rosemary made so many wonderful movies. She's the greatest. Such a beautiful voice ❤
A treasure of talent! Corny as hell--entertaining as heck. Anna Alberghetti sings with ease and fulfills great arias better than anyone today. Rosie fills the screen with great acting choices--more personality than in White Christmas. Loved every minute!
When you've got Wally Westmore for makeup and Edith Head for costumes you know it's a good movie!
THANK YOU FROM MY HEART - ATHENS GREECE
This was so sweet and so lovable! And what a voice I loved actually everybody singing in it. And if people would want to help today ..well, there are people who help true..
What a marvelous opera singer I have never heard of her before What have I missed beautiful girl wonderful voice and great film
Anna Maria Alberghetti was big in the movies and opera houses in the 50's , 60's and 70's . Then she dropped out of sight .
Now movies are about brainwashing and destroying society
Ok, wow! Awesome!
These are precious movies we miss the good quality movies of the olden days No Bad Language No. immoralities Just simple Entertainment meant to relax and entertain. Not meant to Stress you out Like. Most Movies these days
agree with you
❤
Przykre, że nie tłumaczony
Clark Burrows! what a joyful little guy is he!
I was stationed at Castle AFB Cal. When President Kennedy came to the base I stood just 3 feet from him in my blues I froze. He was the most impressive man I ever saw this was 1962i was 20 I'm 83 now. I was in a van delivering mail around the base . We pulled up to Headquarters and was announced over the radio I passed out and fell on the floor shocked. I still remember . What she saw was worst but this stays with me knowing was so close!
What was done to the dog was not nice at all!!
What style of singing is that 🤔
