I buzzed my hair 5 days ego bcz my hair was so thin that my scalp was visible and i felt so ashamed to show my hairs to people ...i always use to cover my head with hijab, scatfs Somehow even if i have long hairs till my hibs i buzzed them bcz even i was unable to show my long hair to any one bcz of my thin hairs which was becoming bald After buzzing i felt so cute even my sisters loved it I was afraid to show my head to my 8 year old sister bcz she was a child and i was afraid that if she see without hair she would say that to everyone like my brothers father and relatives.. I used minoxidil before buzzing and by its side effect i started gaining weight and suffered from low bp I decided not to treat my hear instead cut them off fully....its better to cut hairs instead of regretting daily abt hair loss and other problm Yesterday it was raining and in highway when i was riding scooty i removed my hijab and enjoyed a alot bcz there were unknow pple around me .from doing this i felt that I am afraid of my own people...bcz their shoking reactions can hurt me I open it in public instead ❤

I cut my hair in a pixie almost 7 months ago, and I hated it. At first I was afraid of the awkward stage of hair growth, but I was so determined to getting rid of that pixie that those thoughts didn't last long. Now I'm already past the awkward phase and my hair is starting to look "normal". Do I regret going through all those months of awkward hair? Of course not. I loved it, and I've learnt so much about self-esteem and body image because of it. I hope that everyone who's growing their hair out never gives up and reaches their goal.

I cant explain how much i relate to this video. When i cut my hair into a pixie cut i was going through a hard chapter of my life. I often hide behind my long hair using it as a masks to face the world, once i did cut it i had immediate confidence. Im at the stage now where i want longer hair again, im struggling to be patient through the growing phase and find confidence but this gives me hope thank u for sharing your story!

I definitely felt the part about a buzzcut challenging your femininity. That's what I'm currently going through. I had to buzz my hair off because it was so damaged from months of bleaching it. I came from waist length gorgeous silky black locks to a buzzcut because I bleached it to hell. I associated my hair with beauty. I was so proud of my beautiful hair and I completely mistreated it. So I buzzed it off. While initially loving it and thinking I looked badass, now in the middle of growing it out, I feel so weird. I feel more self conscious and I don't feel feminine at all, especially when I'm not wearing makeup. I don't 100% regret buzzing my hair off because it was just a necessity for the wellbeing of my hair but I would never do it again and if I could turn back time, I would never have started bleaching it in the first place. Took me eight god damn years to grow it to that length ffs 😥

Hello, can i ask?my hair is actually dry and thick.I was rebonded 2 times and i didn't took care of it that's why my is very aaaa, idk what to say but if i ever shave my hair, what will happen?I'm 14 yrs old now.The first time i got rebonded was like 11 and then the second time was 12.

Many of your comments resonated with me, as I buzz cut my hair and, as it grows out in it's somewhat awkward phases I just do not feel that great about it. I am so looking forward to my hair growing back to be full, wavy and longer. I feel more feminine when it is longer and I can style it. Your video inspired me to just keep letting it grow out without trimming it. Thanks so much :-)

Well Im 67...I have had a purple mohawk when I was 65...but I just shaved the sides...I went to lunch with a young friend the other day. She has long beautiful hair. There where several old ladies in the restaurant..we all pretty much had the same hair cut. So I decided I dont want to look like all the others. Its kind of a faux hawk..but I will probably shave the rest. Thanks for the inspiration. Im not as beautiful as you on the outside...but I am still here...on the inside. 🙏❤

I’ve been having hair thinning for about a year now because of bleaching my roots and I constantly feel ugly. I’ve cut my hair into a pixie and I loved it so much until I still noticed hair was falling out… it’s still thinning and I want to do a buzz cut.
