Air Compressor Intercooler Demo
มุมมอง 3505 ปีที่แล้ว
Just got my 1985 Sanborn 60 Gallon air compressor up and running after a rehab. I plan to leave this outside so I made an enclosure to protect the motor from the rain and keep the noise down for the neighbors. I also installed an oil cooler with fan between the pump and tank. This drops the inlet air temp by about 40° F. Stay tuned for my next video about my after dryer setup. #aircompressor #r...

Adding Clearance Under Your Garage Door DIY
มุมมอง 3.5K6 ปีที่แล้ว
My garage door was setup to hang far from the ceiling and it wasn’t able to open all the way. I needed the additional clearance to allow taller vehicles to move in and out. I am not a professional, so follow these steps at your own risk.

I know this is an old video man but I just wanted to say that’s an absolutely amazing it’s not a truck and if you can, can you please see if you can do more like this one only longer arm because this thing sounds amazing and if you can take it through the city and on the interstate, because I’d love to hear what that sounds like, especially with the Westmore turbo, stay safe man and have a great one
I have a 1942 TD6. My grandfather bought it in 42. Still runs great. I have several videos on my channel and recently posted a new one with my crawler. You can see them on pleasant valley outdoors. Fun machines to run.
The deuce would make for one hell of a farm truck. Leads one to wonder why more people haven't used them as oversized grain trucks. They are probably a hell of a lot cheaper than your average c60 or semi
Would you want to sell the battery cover box?
I inherited one can you give me a exact procedure for starting it including the gas side I would appreciate it
To start, you’ll need to turn on your gasoline and diesel at their respective tanks. Then from the operator seat, move the throttle lever all the way back into the gas position and pull the lever to the left throttle all the way back to open the valves on the cylinder head to allow it to run on gas. Press the starter button and adjust the choke as needed. There is no throttle control when running on gas. Once the engine is warmed up, at the same time push the throttle and compression levers forward and it will switch to diesel.
Not much of a burnout for a blown big block
Have one just like yours how did you find year of manufacture?
On the tail side of the bed there is a serial number stamped in the ways. The first two digits are the year it was made.
Thank you for your quick response serial number on mine is 77-1111 so I guess it was made in 1977, at the very end of bed it also has the number 43 any clue mine needs the threading dial fixture
@@joseaguilar7890 wow! My is 77-1129, very close on the assembly line. I emailed info@lagun.com and they were able to provide me with the year of manufacture and I even bought a manual from them. They did mention they have parts still on the shelf, but did say stock is very limited
Less treble and then crank the bass up!!!!!
Way to go Brian . I am tired of pulling handles for someone else. I have 2 lathes and 2 milling machines in my garage. The last 5 years, I made good side money.
Throw couple tons of weight into the bed if that deuce. Weight = traction.
I guess we know why the PE sold the lathe . With that said it could still be fixed with some work and parts it would be a good lathe to learn on, thats how I started. Good luck!
Thanks. Great idea
Loving the engine on the deuce m35
Those Big Boys are pretty cool to see running 😃👍
Better tires on the deuce would make this a whole different story, with equal type tires as the pick ups that deuce would be making those Ford it's little bitches.
Cool but damn, lucky Murphy's law didn't happen, that camera man would've been a goner, lol.
I’m attempting to do the same exact thing, looking to gain about 1 inch of clearance... do you have any additional notes on how you dealt with the rivets? Drilled out, then replaced them with something else? No disturbance to the spring/bar? Thanks!
I drilled the rivets out and replaced with 1/4"-20 cap head allen bolts with the nut on the outside of the track. Worked really well. I did have to increase the pre-load on the spring so it would hold the garage door up at the incline when it is opened. Have been using it like this for about 2 years and no issues.
@@AdventureOften thank you for the reply! Good tip on the outward facing bolts too.
Get a DIY adapter. Attach to M18. Glue old nicd case top to top of M18 DIY adapter. Never swear at your pile of nicd batteries rotting dusty in the corner again.
Dope
Sucks when brakes wont hold. But I find about 3 or 4 pumps on the pedal and hold that usually does the trick for standing burnouts
Looks like Bakersfield

Stupid...
Cant drive, GRANNY GEAR SLOW CLUTCH RELEASE LITTLE TO NO GAS. Break traction you lost.
Whoever filed this should never own anything with a camera.
Your truck has a Open Front Axle and has those unworthy 900×20 Dual Tires, bad idea to try to off road it,unless you at least had some chains,it would have climbed alot faster. If it was a Navy or USMC Variation, that Front Axle could have been Locked when in 6×6 making all wheels turn simultaneously without any slip. The other rigs that other Branches have never had a Locking Front Axle. You can get ARP Air Lockers for the 2 1/2 Ton M35A2-M342A2 only. And using any other set of Tires other than those makes it less likely to get stuck in any kind of land.
I love it
Get rid of those shitty NDT tires on the M35a2 and then play this game again.
What kind of bullshit towing contest is this do you notice that the deuces rear mains are on wet concrete where the pick ups are on dry pavement!
Dan Dotson if you read the video title, the entire point was to get the deuce to do a burnout.
wow, I'm on TH-cam. lol
I can't wait to see this Big Boy In Case Grande Arizona tomorrow afternoon 👍🏽😎 My Father is a Railroad Enthusiast and is dragging me along to see this bad boy .
Good footage. I was only able to capture it going through Nipton CA. I enjoy your close ups of all the marvelous mechanics behind this magnificent machine. Quite miraculous in my mind.
Felix Lenox it truly is an engineering marvel!
They also made a stop in Victorville on the BNSF tracks. Look for the video. My son sent me some stills of it going by him and his crew out in the desert yesterday. Got to ask him why they weren't on the UP tracks.
Incredible. Steam trains rule🚂🚂🚂🚊🚊🚉🚉🚈🚈

Can you put a athena power valve inside an oem cylinder?
DirtBike Derrick the big bore Athena power valves are larger than OEM due to the different sized cylinder. So, no.
should have just plugged it in and lowered the ramps
What front axel did you use? Ford D60? 31.5" or 36" spring perch?
31.5, its a '79 axle.
What is the tire pressure? Need to lower it for off road and sand
Here it was 50psi. Lower psi would've been much better
Change out the NDT Dual Tires to something else and going off roading won't be a issue.I hate those worthless Tires.
now THAT is how to drive up a hill. Nicely done.
This is a storage lift and a cheap one at that, like a Direct or a Backyard buddy type. Could have picked it up and roller bladed home with it.
Thank you for posting.
LOVE this and i miss driving the deuce!
NDCC's are way to expensive to do burnouts with, they wont last long. Playing in the mud with a 6x6 is more fun.
From military experience sir put some weight in the back and youl see a whole different beast come a live😎
Even though it would fail,it has the 900×20 Non-Directional Tires, they are literally worth shit trying to off road.
What kind of vehicle is that, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, or Toyota?
Call me 219-746-1670
Why?
Come fix my garage up!
Clean! I love the sound quality dude what lpf do u have those set at?
Hey man, this was just a temp setup, but IIRC it was around 250Hz.
