Carne Asada Seasoning Rub | SUPER EASY TO MAKE!
This video is your shortcut to FLAVORTOWN! I'll show you how to make a super easy Carne Asada seasoning in minutes using pantry staples.
Just sprinkle this magic mix on your steak, rub it, throw it on the grill, and BAM! You've got juicy, tender, and incredibly flavorful Carne Asada ready to devour.
Want to impress your friends and family with your next BBQ? This recipe is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 Tablespoon chipotle chili powder (or paprika)
1 teaspoon mild chili powder
1 teaspoon Tajín (optional )
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons table salt
Tips:
Transfer the leftover seasoning to an airtight container. A glass jar with a tight-fitting lid is ideal, as it protects the spices from light and moisture. Alternatively, a resealable plastic bag can work, but choose one specifically designed for food storage.
For the most intense flavor, it's recommended to use your carne asada seasoning within 6 months of preparation. After that, the flavors may start to diminish slightly.

I want to try this with some Blue Corn Meal that I just bought. Is this the same as Masa harina? Will it have the same consistency with the Blue Corn 'Meal'?
Absoutly delecious.

Does it matter what type of cucumber you use? Traditional cucumbers like you showed or English cucumbers?
I love how you don't say how much of any of the ingredients are needed. You just throw in whatever is in the fridge I guess....
Thanks for the video! Where did you buy that strainer? I could really use one just like that!

GOOD LOOKS GREAT.
I love this method because I can see the tortilla shaping up through the glass and that makes it easier to get right. Thanks for this video!
Thank you!
I thought you were supposed to cook them longer after making the border? That's what it says on the Mexican recipe online sites, so i don't need to do that?
Where did you get the tortillas press? I need a new one. Yours looks quite solid.
This is not a recipe!
No it isn’t. It’s directions in a video format so you can see how it’s made.
How much milk did you start with ?
Hi, I used 3 and half cups.
Por qué estoy llorando? 🥹
Noooo no llores! Mejor haz tortillitas :)
what...no salt? Hot or Cold Water? need to be more detailed.
Hi Lydia, you don't really need salt, the toppings will add enough flavor. But if you want to, 1 to 2 teaspoons would be enough. As for the water, use room temperature water, cold is also fine, just not hot water or it will cook the dough. Hope that helps! :)
Room temperature
This is the most perfect channel 😭 please don’t stop posting I absolutely adore your content 🫶🏼

Yes, they're thicker than a regular tortilla.
