so what if I have a primary residence for example a single family home, but I don't live in my primary residence? Can I str the whole property? Or do I actually have to be living on that property?? for example, I live in nova scotia but I'm traveling all year, so my primary home is empty??

This is great advice. First house my wife and I purchased was awesome. Until the taxes go up every year along with the insurance rates. Our mortgage was $1287 after three years we were paying $1700 a month. Nobody tells you about that part when you make your initial purchase. We got so lucky, at the three year mark we sold our house for exactly double of what we purchased it for. He made enough profit to move to Missouri by a much bigger house in cash and fully remodeled the inside. Best decision our family has ever made. Fuck a mortgage and owing banks!

It means alot of people who bought houses when they shouldn't will loose their homes unfortunately..
