Leyte Dance Theater Trailer Video
The Leyte Dance Theater LDT) is slated for it 7th USA tour come April to June, 2014. The dance company is based in Tacloban City, Philippines. Its repertoires are inspired by Philippine themes (rituals, legends, folklores, myths and historical) that are close to people's hearts. LDT fuses dance genres to create a unique style of dance productions Its effect is richly visual, emotionally-stirring, truly riveting, and incredibly awesome. LDT is a venue for dance development, artistic expression and national pride.

Original choreography of Jess de Paz. Performed at Tribeca Theater in New York, during the Leyte Dance Theater's USA tour in 1997. It has become the signature dance of LDT since then.

Mr Jesus de Paz, I commend you for your Leyte Dance Theatre. Your modern interpretation of Philippine folk dances are superb and artistic incorporating folk movements and ballet.
