Hi, this video is very shaky. Maybe find another mount for the camera which is not attached to your desk or do not touch the desk while recording as the jitter is unbearable. I am glad you and your family are better now.

Thank you guys so much for 979 ❤❤ small channels gather here we got this ❤ besides right now nowadays there’s this TH-camr right now he just stands in front of a camera does does a bunch of workouts and he just makes thousands of views off of it. Just buy like an old camera his phone and that’s it you can do anything. Put your mind away.

I don't really buy this "if you upload once a week...the audience will expect you to upload once a week." idea. I don't expect anyone to upload on a certain schedule. I wait for the algo to serve up...whatever. You yourself were gone for two weeks at the time I'm writing this and I didn't notice. Then your video showed up in my feed. I really do believe that this "the audience will expect you to show up once a week" thing is just people "feeling" the algorithm. They upload consistently....and there is a part in the code to give them a boost. They fall off the wagon and lose the boost and it feels like their new videos don't get the play they used to when they come back. They think it's because of "the audience". And then they hear a few comments about "I was wondering where you had gone" and they expand those voices in their own minds. They think a LOT of people missed them. But only a tiny fraction of their audience did. The rest just...watched the next video. It was the algo "missing" their consistency....not the audience.

Can I ask about the wood effect in the background is that easy to make? How about a video showing you making stuff like sound proofing and that kind of thing if that is what you have done.

We are all going through it and it returns so don't over do it mate also some one was saying it is coming from the constant cloud that we are living through not like it was years ago when we had much more vitamin D around. Thanks John, you talk sense, I’ve stopped watching the likes of vidiq and the other lad, because it’s just the same stuff they post over and over again, I think you talk about the real side of TH-cam, which is about having fun, i had a couple of videos that did really well, and I thought I’d cracked it, but all my recent videos aren’t doing too well, yes it’s disappointing, but I’m still having fun making them and love the editing side and I’ve learnt a lot…and I’ve so much more to learn, your right have fun keep posting and eventually we will see the benefits.

interesting advice i just wonder why you haven't taken it yourself? I don't mean that to sound bad but even you have recognised your tech videos do far better than your youtube advice videos, but at that you're splitting your audience. Im interested in your YT journey and the tips you have ( i have 3 channels but always look to learn from others) but not interested in the camera stuff. Your camera and monitor audience won't be that much interested in your yt tips. You would probably be better splitting them into 2 seperate channels its more work but you would see better growth as the algorithm works out who's best to serve your content to. Or you could incorporate your tech stuff into your YT teaching, for example best budget camera for starting yt in 2025 or why a quality mic can make a world of difference when starting on yt. That sort of thing. Anyways I do enjoy your content so keep up the hard work.

You have to enjoy the process, I enjoy the niche I am in. It is a lot of work to produce a single video and if you were expecting loads of views right away you will set yourself up for failure.

Yep I'm the same, was chasing to get monetised and ended up doing a zillion tree painting videos as they got views, now I'm monetised the pressure is off, the revenue is underwhelming and I'm doing what I fancy doing..you don't need all that B roll John, I think that's what it's called would have still watched you just talking save yourself some time, it's bloomin hard with young kids.

Yes John, you are so right as usual, Learning the basics of seo is important in the early stages but generally doing something you love doing is the way forwards, I have seen so many people try and start a niche just to try and make money and not something they are passionate about, of course they lost interest, gave up and failed. cheers again.

I value your advice. I went ahead and started my channel because I want to learn video making and I want to learn video editing. But I have found out the hard way that as soon as I hit the record button my brain goes blank! lol Trying to get better. Thanks for sharing.
