Have just done this on my wifes' Qashqai/ Dualis, and you've totally missed the part qabout getting the involved steps of how to get the lock barrel out of the door (if its a drivers door) so you can remove the exterior handle & then fit the cable end from the new block to the handle instead ... First, remove the black dot on the back of the door edge (see 6:46) & using a T20 torx loosen the grub screw abt 3-4 turns. Then, remove the inside window weather strip (it pulls up & out) so you can access down in the door handle area better. From there, get a torch and look down at the back of the lock barrel - you'll see the brown plastic arm with a rod leading down to the white lever on the top of the lock block ... you need to get a strong flat bladed screwdriver and pry/twist between the lock barrel body & the plastic arm to pop it off the lock barrel shaft. Once its off you can pull the barrell assy out as per the other YT videos for the passengers' side handles (where there is just an alloy plug), and from there swap the release cable to the new lock block. Warning - YMMV on survival of the plastic arm you lever off, may want to do this where security isn't a problem in case you have to hit a dealer up for a part.

O meu W201 é de '91, a cor é 904 Duncanblau (midnight blue), também caixa de 5 velocidades, têm actualmente "apenas" 467.300 km e a sua alcunha é... :O Mítico" ! Espero que tenha muita saúde para disfrutar de muitos quilómetros com o seu Baby Benz! Grande abraço!

J'aurais été curieux de voir le compartiment moteur...très belle cela dit 👍👍 le charme et la robustesse légendaire des 190 pour ma part je préfère la 190d 2.5 moins robuste mais beaucoup moins poussive ,et le 5cylindres a un bruit très particulier qui me plaît... chapeau beau travail , elle n'a pas de clim ? Au Portugal en plein été sa doit taper avec couleur noir ..

OM 646 это модификация om 611(самого надежного двигателя), если ещё Euro4 то 1млн. км может спокойно пройти, на om651 особенно ранних выпусках подводил масло насос с переменной производительностью, что приводило к маслянному голоданию и последсвий его, но после 12-го года немцы поменяли редукционный клапан и проблемма вроде как бы ушла.

Very rare: manual and not heated seats

OM646 EVO has Delphi injectors, and they are gone at arround ~150000km. Meaning this thing is gonna smoke like a mad man and eventally arround the 200 000km mark will heat up the DPF so badly that its gonna catch on fire with sorrunding plastics essentially burning the car if you dont act fast. OM651 is just crap in the w204 so avoid it. It got way better in w205 but even there it has a tendancy to overheat out of nowhere Preventative service: Remove and disable DPF. DPF om OM646EVO is in combo with a cat so make sure you remove just the dpf aka the bottom part and you also need to weld the holes for sensors. Car will last longer. You can pass emissions without a dpf just make sure before the test do a little italian tuneup on the highway

I personally think the OM646evo is just more robust and sounds better. The OM651 was born in an era of very strict emission regulations, so it lost some of the stoutness. Proof to this is the fact that the OM646 is a shortened version of the well-proven OM648 which has been tuned quite a lot
