P60 is the document showing your annual income, P45 is from when you leave a job, roughly said, at least that’s what I know.

I currently live with my parents and looked at council housing in my area - the proof of address was 10 years! They really don't want people buying anything or having low rent unless you're from here which seems to be the case for most people I've seen in council houses here - many have previously lived with parents/grandparents. I would guess more people are pushed out than can get on the list. It's so unfortunate that so many, possibly even myself in the future, will have to move away from home just to live. Sorry but a council house should only be for those who are really in desperate need not someone who just fancies staying in London but can’t afford it, I had to leave London cos I could no longer afford it, so council homes should be for people who are in bad situations, far too many people take the piss out of the system and the rest of us mugs pick up the bill!
