I feel like there could've actually could've been some warlock and witches running around LA in the 70's.
I believe her.
Was David bowie real name David jones?
Does Google not work in your part of the world?...
Thanks for the discovery I’ll have to find the full album
Love it
I just realized now that the picture of David Bowie on his greatest hits album shows his hands as “black”. Now I know where he got it from. 😂 Boy, did he “spit in the eyes of fools”and get the last laugh. That’s a “Life on Mars” lyric reference.
Hollywood's bad alright but, frankly, London's worse.
Well thanks glad he quit drugs and started making good music LOL
That story about the storm...very odd.
So basically she didn’t love him and didn’t care/gaslit him when they tried to turn him into the art rock version of jack parsons
Its easy to fall a little in love w this powerhouse of a woman!!!
What an amazing writer
That hair was big amongst working class boys in the 70s
I understand exactly the empty vessel he was/is.Wouldnt shock me one bit if he's on his own island.Sold his sole 😔
Like David wanted to knock up witches and have devil dogs.
When you fall in love with a drug addict and you nurse them through the dark times, you either develop an unbreakable bond or some very deep resentment. You can hear that David put her through hell, and she never quite forgave him for it. If you know this road, you will understand.
The stones wrote a song about her. ANGIE
Very interesting and very sad, she seems bitter about the role she chose to play in his life, but I guess hindsight is 20/20, I wonder if she felt the same way as it was all happening.
this is not true she herself admitted she invented that because her editor wanted her to put something spicy in her book and she did. She never worked a day in her life she made money selling many books about Bowie and saying a lot of lies. I think people should inform themselves better before publishing a video like this one.
Cocaine is a HELL of a drug. Does it enhance creativity as an artist? Sure! Right up until the point when it doesn't. That disaster can happen quicker than you know. I would strongly advise never going there in the first place. This isn't professional advice, just an honest opinion on the matter.
Me and my mates have crashed out in the same bed as each other after a heavy sesh but we were fully clothed and aren't gender bending Rock stars who probably turned all sorts of tricks to get a reco deal 😂😂😂
Its always tough when you are the test pilot for life - first spouse, first sponsor, first manager, first whatever before a person becomes stable, gets serious, becomes a real success, etc.
interesting that he picked a sort of bland barbie doll model to marry later on. he clearly couldn't handle a truly intelligent equal who had passion and hunger like Angie.
Amazing lyrical piece of writing
He lived on Doheny, a few blocks N of Santa Monica. Surprisingly non-secluded and a really busy street. Just another WTF moment in the life of Bowie.
I've been listening to many of her speeches. I don't like her energy and wonder if something isn't right here.
"Cocaine is a Hell of a Drug". And a Waste of Time, Always.
(((Lippman))) says it all.
Hollywood cinema from about '62 to '76 is full of "satanic" themes, many quite overt.
Who said that the drugs don't work ... Bowie was THE MAN
All of it is real.
Oh I get it now. It's funny....ragging David for being money-wrenching(his) her " career"...u mean not being a mom and being a slut and drug takes? Best of all she abhors jealousy and possessiveness yet is completely consumed with both!? Brilliant
My God she might be the most delusional non-star ever. You picked out some shoes and outfits and drew his bath? Whoop do
Its true though..Bowie admitted himself he had a period of fascination with what he called "darkness and the wrong side of the mind" and theres pics of him dressed as Alistair Crowley did in the Egyptian priest robes etc..Bowie was into satanism etc.
Almost more over rated than the Beat Offs. What an abject pathetic loser
Angie Bowie is a special person.
Aw, you poor thing. Are you enjoying his fortune?
Booooring...David is one of the best musicians ever lived
An old freind of mine who had indulged in coke off & on & crack over the years used to say " Cocaine, it's really really good for......long dramatic pause......Making you want to take more cocaine" .Thank god i never felt that way about it, RIP Mikki.
I remember reading her book many years back in the eighties. I see she has a couple more books i haven't yet read.
Bowie rocks 😂
Oh my, she cracks me up.
Must have been such a tragic scene
I’ve been doing blow for nearly 30 years, about twice weekly, except for the few years or months from time to time when I stopped for one reason or another It gets me through a few early mornings and late nights I don’t use it to party never did, when I stop I stop cold and I don’t think about it for 3 months or a year or whatever Here in South America every taxi driver uses it. People use it to get through a day of grinding work in the real world. I simply cannot understand it accept that people “abuse” it. There’s absolutely nothing psychotic about it. In fact, it’s impossible to OD on unless you do a lot LOT really fast after a break. Because your sinuses stuff up and don’t absorb anymore
She's a funny one.
Lance?
Woman got screwed but you can’t keep up David’s gonna dump you, like he dumped his first band
... well written account...
Here is a crazy thought…. What if it wasn’t psychosis??
lol then ya need a Jesus
…Bowie wasn’t gay?
He swung both ways but ultimately went the straight road
Only pretended to be.
