You don't have to upgrade. The New pro version is now less boomy or less bassy. Now a bit more balanced, a bit more mid range and treble forward. If you are a bass head, still the OG is better. Also the new one is a bit bigger, about 5%. I have my full review linked below. My videos are in written format though.

It will depend on your preference. If you are a bass head, avoid the Harman version. If you are a bass head and want the most enjoyable experience, get the bass version. Or if you want the most accurate sound with better clarity, get the Harman version. Harman version is better for gaming too.

@@justomar4542 All of them are good value, imho. It's not absolutely necessary to buy all 3 or even 2 of the 3. They provide different flavors of bass. Which to prioritize depends on your preference. QKZ x HBB will have the most extention into subbass with fuller lower mids. Both Castors are more versatile due to the tuning switches and can provide more midbass punch than the QKZ with "cleaner" lower mids (less bass bleed) if you like that. The Pro is a slightly less boomy version of the og Castor. There's really no better or worse. It just depends on what you like. I like all of them. Which one I like more depends on the day. I love to eat pizza but I don't want to eat it for every single one of my meals. I have the same perspective with iems. I like variety with different styles and tunings but I'm a basshead so I generally go for iems with boosted bass. I'm also treble sensitive so I don't want aggressive upper mids and treble. Sorry for the ramble but I hope it helps you in making a decision. 🙂✌️

SG or the old version is better for me. It is more fun and engaging. The studio edition is more balanced and neutral. More accurate overall. Old Wan'er is one of the most fun sets under $20.

They perform exceptionally well. Great clarity, no noise.

The adjustments with the new Pro version is just minimal. When compared with the Wan'er, still the Castor Pro bass got recessed mid range. It is a bit more forward than the older version, still falls behind the Wan'er.

No it doesn't have an option to mute the Mic. Also they don't perform that well for competitive gaming. There are 2 new options but i haven't used them yet. I recommend the FreshReviews channel for the gaming based content. Tripowin Vivace is what he recommends for budget competitive gaming and the new 7Hz G1 is made for gaming as the brand says. I recommend to reseauon them. Will let you know if I get a chance to review them.

@@Achllyss Nice, let me know your experience. Yes, the OG Harman is better. But, if you aren’t that much a bass head, the new Pro Harman will suites you too. As a bass head, I enjoy the OG Harman the most.

@@weirdear95 I forgot to edit, the one i got is castor pro (harman version). Edit: after comparing the three, I still pick tangzu wan'er, and then 7hz zero 2 and then castor pro, its tangzu>zero2>castor pro (harman) anyway, I like the way castor feels, looks and its weight!

Ahh, definitely depend on the personal preference. CRA is super V shaped and fun sounding. Harman is Harman(obviously) and the accurate one. They deliver 2 different experiences.
