can it run TF2 at 720p atleast tho
I buy raspberry pis because they are an UK product, where this one supports fascist-comunism.
is it a joke?
This video is a total joke. Dislike + Don't recommend this channel
Spend 5x as much? Nah, you're okay. If I wanted a micro PC, I'd buy one.
A naff comparison!
quele commeeee...............
_Raspberry Pi_ lets too much rain on your head-so I built a dome home
Brother we buy raspberry pies for the programmable IO don't say anything about a nas because I can literally use a old tp-link router for that😂 like what's the point we don't buy these to get mini PCS if we did want one Raspberry Pi literally has a keyboard version of it that just plugs up to a screen and a power source😊
The split is between cheap and expensive ... on cheap side rpi is amazin. On expensive side you are better off buying a pc at this point ...
Raspberry Pi isn’t cheap anymore 😞
Dpi port omg 😱
😁
I like the idea but why spend the market price for $100-$120 market price for an H2/H2+/H3/H3+ with inferior processors. When the H4 is available on the market for only $100 with superior N series Alder Lake CPUs. Just an observation. The build would still end up costing the same, but the CPU boost might be worth the H4 investment.
Yes, go for H4, at the time h4 wasn’t out yet. Thx 🙌🙌🤣
I settled for an HP Z440 tower. It has been serving me well. This year the processor started failing on the MMU, but I was able to get a replacement 12 core Xeon Broadwell for $13
Only $13, nice 🙌🙌🙌
pi's have a purpose. like controlling lights or signs or projects. they are not a revolutionary home computer but they serve a purpose and are pretty cool.
Yeah they are, just wish they would have stuck to $25-30
I would run Proxmox but a good video keep up the work
Start installing all of that RAM that you guys have laying around everywhere. Or download more if you don’t have ram to install yet
Roger that 😁
Yes, this is mini pc, BUT Raspberry was made as multiuse device not for just pc usage.
True true
If you use a mini PC,you can use esp32 or Arduino as a remote IO with data communication through USB , RS 485, or Wifi instead. Also cheaper, i.e Bmax B1 pro or hacked STB devices,i.e MXQ pro with Armbian Linux inside.
I’m all about PoE. Mini PCs despite being cheaper nowadays is harder to deploy. Finding janky adapters and power supplies is just not practical. Also RPIs have a huge community with all sorts of solutions. That’s what you are buying
Would love to build a PoE powered Pi Zero
Bro never heard of recycling😢
🤣🤣🤣
What cpu does it have?
Odroid h2 has x86 Gemini Lake, latest Odroid h4 has x86 alder lake cpu
Fuck dude a pcie4 would have sold me
Right?
GPIO
Yes, just not as much as RP
Does it have gpio? 😂
Yes
Could please put the part number of the board please?
Odroid h2, but I’d go with latest Odroid h4
RPs should ve used for schools,... education! It is a low budget solution that fits the purpose! Kids don t need powerfull machines to learn programming and office skills!!!
Wish the RP5 wasn’t soo expensive
I'm actually rolling on the floor right now. 😂 Raspberry Pi's are like 30 bucks, right? And lemme guess, all of the materials required for that whole thing are, hmmm, $500?
New ones, NO
Waste of money… better buy Cheap PC
You could, but this is smaller and much more fun to build :)
@ fun 🤦
Never buy that either. Get a Jetson Nano instead.(Joking 😂)
Just checked, the Jetson is crazy expensive :)
Where did you get the case?? Oh, you forgot to mention NO RAID! Power connector is kinda junk. All the cases for those look like ..... well garbage! Uild your own :)
www.hardkernel.com/ but I think they now just have standard black of the case and not acrylic. You can also do software RAID using trueNAS :)
but does it have gpio headers so I can turn on an LED??!?!?
There's a small GPIO header too.
@ItsAllAboutTheTech jeez this thing does have everything. i was actually kind of joking. That's what most people end up doing with their rasberry pi before getting bored with it and watching tik toks
Just get a laptop. It’s big and bulky.

I bet it's the same price too right?
@@hippoloverforever RP5 = $80, new Odroid h4=$99 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
also raspberry pis having built in cpu. gpu. ram. also raspberry pi having official raspberry pi os. lot of ports. cases with built in fans. ez computer. 50 dolla dolla. best and cheapest computer
@@o._.369 RP5 is $80
@@ItsAllAboutTheTech nah its 50
I have 3 of those for a little over 2 years now. My rPi's have been lying idle ever since (except the ones for my 3d printers). Run Proxmox on them and you get as many virtual machines as you like. So much more performant and easy to maintain than a Pi.
How much is it?
@@aaronclarke5494 new Odroid h4= $99, RP5=$80
@ItsAllAboutTheTech the Odriod h4 would appear to be better value
@@aaronclarke5494 oh yeah. Made this before the h4 was out 😁
Try Lava 😅😅
LAVA???
I like blueberry pie best😮
Me too
It would be cool to do a full comparison with prices/benchmarks.
@@MyPhone-qg2eh for sure!!!
There’s a huge reason people go with Pi’s or similar alternatives. I was looking at this for some smaller server things a Pi can’t handle but I would recommend a Pi way more often to people due to cost
Just wish the price didn't go so high on the RP5
Yes well I wouldn't be buying a Raspberry Pi v1 now either
:)
Where is the full video talking about the hardware?
For the different Odroid H series models???
@ItsAllAboutTheTech that and how you built that cube. With some explanation
@@jamessmoth8683 ah, ok
Oh, I was gonna buy Pi to make a handheld 3D scanner with kinect 360! Now I'm gonna buy odroid. Can you post the instructions how to make such scanner with it? No. Every device has its own application. Don't tell anyone what to buy if you dont know what people want to make. This is rude.
hahahaha
That not fair comparsion at all.
Yup
I love raspberry pi
Me too
Watch out. The Pi Brigade is out. I agree they're overpriced, but the community support is unmatched. Just get a SBC with similar hardware. It will load just fine.
So far, my experience is that I get a better experience using PC hardware wherever possible rather than a Pi. I've run into weird performance issues, software support issues, and a number of other things with Pis that just aren't issues with PC hardware. But if you need low power and have the software development resources needed for an embedded system, Pis are great because the community means you don't need as big a team as you would with other embedded systems.
Agree
