Smittybilt SRC Roof Rack Jeep TJ Review
I like your set up. Can you tell me more about your lift? What mods did you have to make to have it lifted 2in? Parts needed?
You did a great job on this Jeep.
Bro I was like why this c***t has a French plate (I am from France) and he’s not French and apparently live in the us or something. Thanks for answering my question 😂

We need more of this side of humanity 🥰
Okay, that's one of my new favorite trail stories. What a kind family!!
Now that's some of the best accidental trail magic!! Posole is amazing- happy to hear you were able to spend time with them! ❤
Dubai needs danimals river.
Some cracking views there buddy
Eat an animal
I mean, he doesn't have to. He can eat what he wants. Not that I necessarily agree that that food looked even close to enjoyable
Oh 😳 Please don't ever 😢
Great job, keep going! 💛 Spiffy, class of 2023
PCT class of 2018 - we're rooting for you!
I need to come do one of these walks one day.
The beginning of this video had me so concerned for you ❤

Wholesome thank you 🙏🏽
I’m not a credit card or miles person. But I was still able to get two round trip tickets from the US to New Zealand with miles by leveraging Delta’s flash sales and my Delta credit card. A few years ago I got one of those mail in offers that I usually just throw out. It was 80,000 miles if you spend $2,000 - $3,000 in the first few months. Not a bad deal. The card had a $100 annual fee but gave me free checked badges on Delta (which has paid for itself every year since). At the time, I already had a basic credit card with no renewal fee, but this seemed like a good opportunity to further build my credit since I was fresh out of college. I got the card and instead of using my debit card, I just put my normal expenses on my new credit card for a few months and paid it off as I went. Once I got the 80,000 miles I was pretty stoked to see that I could get a round trip ticket anywhere in the US, but most international destinations I was interested in were 120,000 miles. Enter Delta Flash Sales I learned through a friend that Delta will have flash sales. Sometimes they last 24 hours, sometimes they last a few days. I was sitting on my miles for a couple of years and then Delta opened a flash sale to New Zealand for 40,000 miles round trip. Within an hour I got two tickets for my partner and I. 8 months later we traveled all around the South Island. We saw lots of cool birds (even a penguin!), camped, did some beautiful hikes, cruised through stunning fjords, paraglided, and ate a ton of smashed avo. Since we did the South Island, we did have to buy flights from Auckland to Queenstown through a domestic airline at $200 round trip. Our car rental was surprisingly cheaper than we anticipated at $500 for two weeks. Overall, we found that accommodation, food, and experiences were quite affordable when compared to our experiences traveling within the US or Western Europe. Everyone was very friendly too :) #newzealand #skymileslife #hiking
I have a 97 tj also, 33s 4 inch lift
What lift is that?
I have that same switch for my fog lights. Do you know what that type of switch is called or is it oem? Loooking for 2 more so it matches that one.
Did you have to do anything to get those 7” lights on the front pillars to clear the rack. Was there enough space or did it barely fit ?
You did a really good job rescuing that Jeep. We are in Michigan also, and my son just bought a TJ. He is having so much fun wioth it that now I am shopping for one. LOL
Do you have spacers on the tires?
No
Did you add a transfer case drop after the lift?
No, I did replace the shifter linkage - unrelated to the lift though.
Die Ich
Very beautiful and nicely done!
Nice job
Who built your Jeep ? Because I think you paid someone
Nice Tyler 👍👍
Do you miss the TJ? Or you definitely rather have this one 10 fold?
What are those headlights called?
This is the nices rig I’ve seen so far. Real clean and classy. Nothing ridicolous over the top. Love it!
This is my jeep. Except I've owned mine since '99 new. There was a moss green color, which I almost got, but I recall it was lighter than that. I decided to go with Forest Green and dark interior. Maybe it's the sunlight, but yours looks forest green too. I don't know how you got a 32' tire on the rear. My studs were too short for even 31's with the grizzly rims. Want to know where you got that cheap console storage container! Never seen that one before
Beautiful work
You can get a 33" tire on the stock carrier if you remove the two top rubber bumpers and loosen the break light assembly about a quarter to a third of an inch. The tire will hold the break light assembly in place very well still. Learned that from a mobile tire guy.
Yeah, but the studs are still too short. I don't even know how he got those 32s on that rear tire carrier
I have a 01 tj I'm about to fit 1 of these .I have the Bowles soft top and putting up and down is easy with this same wrack.
Thanks for the review. I’m thinking about getting a Z Packs pack this spring.
Great looking TJ
Nice Jeep. Black top 100% as very yellow. Easy to home spray as good as Jeep does it. The black wheels look cool…
Ions amazing I have 01 se bought 3yrs ago at used car lot thought about the lift but since it’s in pretty good condition pretty much eevwrything looks original so hard to make the call to do the change.
Mine is an SE and has AC and adjustable steering wheel, etc.
Good rescue.
T es français ??
