Hey gang thought i would chime in on this. Unfortunately the band didnt give me permission to film them till a couple minutes before the show so i only had a shotgun mic on me. I had to dub the album audio over because the audio i recorded was to blown out. BUT WAIT...for the last tour they gave me permission to film months in advance and i toured up and down the coast with them. 4 shows in 5 days. I have tons of footage and clean audio. Its just gonna take some time to edit so STAY TUNED!!

I know they played the hell out of it lol, I just saw them live a few weeks ago, one of my favorite bands by far. I know that they're actually playing lol that's pretty obvious as I can hear the actual performance audio underneath the overdub. My point is that there wasn't a backing track played live, especially for this song... the person that made this video overdubbed the studio version to the actual audio & video of their performance. No big deal, just didn't see the point in doing that.

If you listen to the studio version, there is a crowd chanting in the background of the track...this is why a backing track was played...but they are actually playing...also the girl on viola uses a Loop Pedal, so she stores certain parts and melodies for when she has to repeat them in a song, so if you hear the viola and don't see her stroke her bow it is due to the loop pedal ...the overdub is just there for the crowd chanting thing... So they did play the hell out of it...overdub or not

Didn't really appreciate the overdub of the studio track. I looked up a live music performance to hear the live music... The band looked like they were playing the hell out of it though! Good show
