For 124 years, the Annual Adult Student Exhibition has celebrated the vibrant artwork created by Fleisher’s students. The exhibition provides students with the opportunity to show their work in a public gallery, with cash prizes awarded to students in a wide spectrum of mediums including fiber arts, drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and photography.

Remote Control is a free, after-school writing, photography, and video class in which teens have the power in their hands to tell their stories - from a safe distance. Project 4: Scripting our Comics Write a single page of comics, laid out however you want. You can write about whatever you want as long as you don’t use existing characters (no Spider-Mans, no Supermans). First, write a very short summary of an original story. Project 5: Drawing Our Comics Let's move on to drawing the good copy of your comic. Grab a fresh sheet of paper and use your work from last session as a guide. Use a ruler and a pencil to draw the panel boxes. Now here's the fun part! Using a pencil first, start drawing the images and speech bubbles in your nice neat panels. Finally, trace over your pencil lines with a pen or marker, then erase...

Project 5: Comic Book Cover Learn the basics of creating fonts for titles. Make a composition for your cover, and pencil and ink it in.
