I have never met a pre-mil believer who believes what was stated, that we just have a “ticket to hevean”. Pre-mils have a very high view of the physical world believing that Jesus will come and restore this world when he returns as King. Our hope is not in this age, but in the age to come. Even the beatitudes mentioned are best understood as primarily blessings for the age to come. Building our treasures in the kingdom of God, not living for this life but for the promise of resurrection.

We are so grateful Mattew for your honesty and for opening your heart to us. I hope you will keep taking care of yourself these kinds of seasons usually don’t wash away after weeks or months sometimes the only we can do is to learn how to put one foot in front of the other and believe that we will see the goodness of God somehow here on earth and on our lives. As Toby Mac had said after losing his 21 years old oldest boy in his song Goodness:… (Jesus) you are still the goodness in my life. By the way, I recommend listening to his album Life After Death. We love you and your beautiful family. God is the one who is taking care of the church and will take care of you as well. Please keep taking care of yourself as much as you need; being surrounded by loving friends helps a lot.

Eric, Thank you so much for the sermon last Sunday. God poured out so much into my wife's and my heart. We are grateful for the way that God brought out a fresh revelation, one more time about who He is and who we are accordingly with his purpose as his children and human beings made in his image. Thank you for reminding us that instead of being like Martha trying to please Jesus by doing so much for him we can instead choose what is best, sit at his feet, and receive what He has for us.

What a beautiful message for us to dwell on and meditate on as we walk forward to this new year 2024. I feel so moved by the preaching this morning. Thank you Erick for sharing the beauty of what really means to walk by grace and looking at Jesus Christ as who he is, the merciful, powerful, full of love and grace King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
