I had the pleasure of connecting with James at the BISC-MI conference! As we get less afraid of our feelings we become safer, I like that.

Proverbs 13:24 I have seen kids who were robbing other kids of their lunch money transformed into model students after one heavy session with the principal with an oak paddle. In England, the schools used to post a sign over the doors: "learn or depart or else be whipped". Ignore the fantasy talk conflating paddles and belts designed to discipline vs. heavy sticks that cause physical damage to the kid. Bleeding heart social workers who live in Ivory towers should not push their fantasies over proven reality based methods that encourage kids to become law abiding citizens who don't do flash mob robberies of 7/11s and carjackings, as seen today in the discipline free USA.

good to see a practical way for people in general to learn about the issues around violence.
