Crazy to install something limited to speeds and connectors over ten years old. Imagine trying to charge a tablet, laptop or high end phone on 7.5 W in 2024.

Strange to complain about a correct iso date format (it would be insane to go yyyy/dd/mm even worse than American dates) but not complain about 12 hour clock or obsolete Fahrenheit

If you need to reverse whilst towing I presume you will get a continuous buzzing which would get annoying, especially if you are having to reverse for miles down a narrow lane

A bit of anti rust treatment on the bare metal left by drilling a hole through the roof would be both a nice touch, and the sensible thing to do.

A couple of weeks ago, I had my standard factory head unit upgraded to an Alpine X903D-DU2 along with the door deadening and speaker upgrades by Martin and the team at Motorhome Retrofits. These chaps certainly know their job, the quality of work, the fitment of the products etc is top class. the improvement of sound from the speakers is amazing, the head unit itself is great. I was concerned about any rattles or squeaks coming from the door and side panels or dashboard after they had been removed and then re fitted but everything was great, no rattles, squeaks etc. Excellent products, expertly fitted, I will be back for some more upgrades. Hi, this is very nice but I stumbled over this looking for something else and I would like to ask if you guys can help as you are so skilled, knowledgrable and experienced : I have seen a system which switches the input to the dashboard display between sire cameras and reverse camera depending on whether the driver is indicating left or right or goes in reverse so if indigating left I could see from a left side camera all that's on the left side of the car, including cars that might be in my blind spot and then if I indicate right I can see the right side camera, showing what's on the roight side of the car, including the blind spot, etc, without needing to switch this manually. Any help with that would be appreciated. thanks

Dang. I was hoping for an alpine head unit with apple car play and a 16" screen or something crazy. I havent shopped for speakers in a decade plus. Last time i was shopping i vastly preferred JL audio for the subs and polk audio for their sound profile with their silk dome tweeters. Also those tweeters are not pointed directly at the users and in-door speakers dont create the best sound stage. Im not watching more of the video as its filled with stuff i wouldnt buy. But im sure it sounds better than stock. Seeing those speakers attatched to the plastic door panel is a travesty. I might consider a custom speaker box.

Hello. I'm a very happy follower, but on this video, that I intend install the proposed solution on my motorhome, I have a doubt: once the radio has a b+ direct link for the radio memories, when I switch to the celule's batteries , doesn' t they turn linked in parellel? What can we use to stop that? Maybe a diode in serie wirh the b+ on the radio link? Sorry for the bad English. Greetings

I tied string to the old cable…cheap thin string that snapped at the first opportunity it could! Ended up taking off the speaker and prising up the mirror controls and found it much easier. Great video, loved the level of detail and the tips

Would this work with a A class motorhome?

You fitted this to our Benimar Tessoro on a Ford Transit base. We are just completing our trip through Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France. It has worked perfectly on DAB, even in the tunnels! I will email photos and a view if the route with info when we get back. 👍👍👍

Please cover those light coloured seats/table before all your tools mark them, i would not be happy at all if it we're my van. That's someone's pride and joy with a pretty hefty price tag your working on.
