MTBing with my son - Testing Dji Neo
Slow and casual MTB riding with my son on our home trails while testing my new Dji Neo drone. I just copied all clips from it to this video. No background music and no comments. Just raw Dji Neo footage with standard settings without any modifications. I really like the quality and also the follow mode and directional tracking mode was working great. I like it.

Frick Enduro 5 - Nice concatenation of trails in Frick Park - 2020
มุมมอง 3354 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows a concatenation of multiple trails in Frick Park, called Enduro 5 in Srava. The trails are "Corpse trough", "Homeless camp (up)" and "Iron Gate - Concrete Block to Bottom". At the end of the video, during the last downhill section someone put some logs across the trail behind corners to harm mountain biker... No words...

Crater/Humpular Trail in 2020 - My favorite MTB trail in Frick Park
มุมมอง 1.3K4 ปีที่แล้ว
New video of the Crater/Humpular Trail in 2020. New jumps, berms and rerouting of trail. I cut the best parts of this trail down to 7 min. Nice and flowy trail with some bigger jumps. My favorite trail in Frick for MTBing...
Traverse Loop - Babyhead Climb and Summerset Single Track decent
มุมมอง 1904 ปีที่แล้ว
Really nice loop in Frick Park. Technical climb, you have to keep a certain pace to be able to crawl over the "baby head size" rocks as the name of the trail tells you... Just 2.4 km loop and ~10 min to ride (without breaks and keeping your bpm high).
Iron Gate 2020 - Most famous MTB Trail in Frick Park

Iron Gate in 2020, new berms, jumps and rerouting of trail. Short summary of nice berms and jumps in the beginning and then full trail video uncut.

Video of the whole Bradema Trail. Section also called "Nature Center full with extension" in Strava. Trying out some settings on my GoPro Hero 6 (e.g. flat profile, medium sharpness and color corrected it afterwards) Gimbal. Is it still ok or do I need to switch to Hero 8?

Where was that where you crossed the rocks? I've been on frick trails but never can find 276 😢
I've been on Redemption but haven't tried Humpular yet. Where did you enter it at?
true representation! it is a rough ride, for sure. well done though. i prefer to ride in spring, winter and fall. doesnt take many miles to get a good workout. thanks for sharing
This is sick! Would love to see a bike check sometime too!
I was there last week for the first time. Very fun trails for mountain bikes
excellent riding.
is this still with the wg2x gimbal and hero 6 black? looks great man
Thx. Yes still the old gear.
@@frickmtb9505 thanks for the reply. I have a hero 6 black as well, and just started using nd filters for slower shutter speed for motion blur. It looks good but the camera doesn't seem to be able to stabilize the blurry footage as well. I'm considering moving to a gimbal, or just saving for a 8 black. Idk. Your footage looks pretty legit though.
@@EJOpdahl with the Hero8 you need to pay attention since the lens is not changeable. Not sure if a ND filter fits and stays on it. If I would go with a new camera I would pick the Hero9. Gimbal might still be smoother but for sure more bulky. I put the gimbal in the smooth position and kept the electronic stabilization of the camera on. Currently I am happy how the footage looks and at time I bought the hero 6 the electronic stabilization was not good enough.
@@frickmtb9505 thanks for the feedback!
Think this trail is for intermediate riders
Yes not for beginners. There are some steeper section you need to commit in order to pass them. All jumps can be skipped if one does not feel comfortable in doing them. But I really like this trail.
I've been wanting to check that place out. Awesome videos. Looks fun.
You are amazing on those U-turn downhill switchbacks.
That is an amazing area of nature inside of the big city!
Nice trails!
Hey Jan. Is this Frick Park in Pittsburgh right?
Nice! I created that segment.
Old dude has been laying logs across the trails. Super cool of him.
Just moved back to the burgh. Haven't been here since before all these trails were made. My bike's in the shop (and taking FOREVER), but I've been watching all your vids and am itching to get out there and hit these spots!! Will keep living vicariously through you in the meantime. Keep it coming!
Jan, great riding again by you. By the way and for whatever it's worth to you, that's a great looking color scheme on your Trek.
Sweet video Jan.
Jan, another awesome video sir. Great riding too.
Jan, really nice riding sir.
Nice Riding! 👊🔥🔥
Do your cables ever "click" inside your frame? I got a bike recently with that design (cables through the frame) and it drives me nuts I can't tell if my bike has issues with the fork or is it's cables while I ride It's probably just me but I can't seem to ignore it...
Really nice video Jan W. Thanks for posting. What model Trek are you riding if I may ask ?
@@frickmtb9505 Nice ! Really nice.
Great video as usual. I wish you would do uncut videos. It would really help me to learn how all these trails connect to each other.
I've been eyeing Crater/Humpular for a while now and that gap jump made me clench a bit. There's a steep and dangerous drop off to the right, no?
Yes, the gap jump is next to the drop off. It took me awhile to commit to it. Now it feels easy, jump itself is not so big.
where does the first trail in this video begin? those berms look nice
I am the one who built that burn to jump/roller in the beginning and I made the jump after bigger
Sadly, the leveled the berm and flattened the jump lol

Great trail
Hi ! Nice video ! Still winter uniform colors, not yet green leaves and flowers, but nice trail with some cool features. I just bough a WG2X too. And I agree with you about the best mode. The "normal" mode is a bit too shaky horizontally, not very comfortable to look at. The "motion" mode exaggerates too much the small movements, certainly due to attempts to predict corners. So, the most stable mode, but a bit lazy, is the "smooth" one. Laziness is noticeable around 2:40 or 3:10, the gimbal stays looking right instead of trying to return to center position. I have some regrets of my defunct Zhiyun Rider-M, it was more configurable (dead zone, speed and smoothing of each axis). It would be nice that Feiyu improves the smoothing in the normal mode with a better filtering of small horizontal movements and with a good prediction of large turns. Take care of you in those days...
Thanks for the post. I'll be walking up to 9:54.
What trail is this?
Love 276 trail!
I agree I did this trail today alongside bradema and iron gate trail it was a great time
I’m not great on skinny’s
nice ride
Did you turn on the eis of your h6?
Man I need to get there soon I'm in south hills of Pittsburgh I rode there for years and now I have no idea where or what the trails are besides seeing them in videos. I rode iron gate a lot.
Nice quality for a very underrated youtuber.. i like it. :D
What kind of bike do you ride?
Nice
Nice video. I’m stoked because I’m moving to Pittsburgh this summer. Frick Park will be my close by after work spot I think. I raced BMX as a teenager and am buying my first MTB this summer at the age of 50. I would welcome any local intel or advice. Keep it up!
GoPro EIS activate ? I can't make so smooth shoot 😭
What's your chesty ? Stuntman or classic ? Because i have the same gimbal and the result isn't so smooth 😭
@@frickmtb9505 thanks you , but i have the GoPro session 4 and i don't have stabilization 😕, but i try to upgrade my chesty , and i will do a test this afternoon ...
Headed here this weekend, can't wait!
17:53 , good sliding :)
Which trails are these? Particularly at 3 minute mark.
*i love great urban trails like this one*
*awesome trail*
Hello! I was wondering if you are a Pittsburgh local? When spring finally comes I was looking for somebody to show me all the trails near the area.
Damn smooth. Like it. Does the Gimbal having charging port output to charge the gopro while shooting.?
hello Jan W. how did you fix the stabilizer? by the back or the bottom thread ? I have the WG2 and I find the stabilization of poor quality with the GP6
@@frickmtb9505 Thanks ! EIS is turned on on your GP6 ? I using too the stuntman chest harness and my setting is 4k30 or 4k25. Do you see sometimes the upper motor on your footage ? I think, the balancing is better with WG2x. I'm using a litlle coin to have a better balancing.
Thanks !
