Leather airbag/steering wheel: Picky, although the gummy buttons were replaced in the mid-term update with "flat" ones. Plastic conrols: Somewhat picky. My beef is the tacky feel of the turn signal. At least the shift paddles are aluminum. Aux port: Not picky. The BT device should integrate phone *and* music. Brake dust: Somewhat picky. All German cars exhibit this. They love their soft pads. There are alternatives. ABC: Picky. Dude, you *knew* what you were getting into. I love my C216.377 with the M156. Wrench it myself, and the real money and engineering went into a lot of what you *can't* see such as suspension, body, engine internals, and safety technology. I've got 105K miles on my 2008 and the ABC struts, pump, lines, and valves are original with only fluid and filter changes every 50K. I have replaced the pulsation dampener on the pump body and the two accumulators ("bombs"). It eats motor mounts as well, and boy, are they a bitch to replace. Well worth every busted and bruised knucle.

Ok so I have an 06 e55 so all I need is the e63 wheel and airbag, no e63 clockspring and no soldering the main plug. Did you actually confirm the paddle shifters worked after install while driving? Ive read something about an adapter being needed for the new paddles to be used. How much thicker is the e63 wheel grip vs the e55? Did the buttons light up the same amber color as the original buttons? I appreciate your help, I also hate my e55 wheel, its too skinny and my leather is worn down anyway

Ive got a 330i 2020, wanted the m340i but do too many miles so protecting my wallet. It’s quick not fast but it drives beautifully compared to the 330d f30 which I had. Driving this has made me never want a diesel again it’s so smooth. Definitely miss the extra 2 cylinders though. Also Uk models are quiet, virtually no exhaust sound due to legislation. Very happy with it as a daily driving commuting to work

I’ve got an E55 with an LSD, long tube headers, 63mm injectors, a forced induction Interchiller kit (5 degree C on a 30 degree C day), Bosch intercooler pump ,tj merry transmission tune, black engine mounts, an intake kit, belt wrap kit,, 83mm pulley, bigger radiator, bigger fuel pump, and a bunch of other stuff. It all makes it very fun to drive. I’ll get a 105mm throttle body soon and that will be that. They’re a great car and I highly recommend mods.

Have 2014 ML550,so far,65k miles so good.Thinking some proactive "service" re do the coolant lines fittings, and the cam covers to get me another year or two. Love the sound and power.

Our CLS 500 W218 is the best overall coupe Ive owned. Only problem is the front disc rotors are scored after only 80000Km. My 2011 model still looks cool. In Australia this car was originally sold for$220,000. It's a rare vehicle in Aust.😊

Make sure you change all fluids, especially the ABC fluid. Might as well clean it out and change the filter. You probably know about the injectors etc. Beautiful car and it will give you headaches but its a sweet ride.

My mom has a 2007 E350. She purchased the car at lease return and now she has 80000 miles on it. So far these were the issues The sunroof was 800$ The water pump, engine and transmission mounts. Cabin filter, wiring harness and oil reservoir change that added up to 1200$ Spark plugs and coils that ran her about 600$ Transmission control Unit was second generation and was changed to G4 and that ran her about 1400$. She hasn’t had a balance shaft issue but I’m getting concerned wether she should keep the car the way it goes.. I’m hoping she doesn’t have to spend more on this..She loves the car..
