This is really good music. In fact, I discovered Indra back in 2011 while I was in Cluj, working as an architect. I was scooping the internet for authentic Romanian music, electronic music in the same fashion as Vangelis, Mike Oldfield or the romanian-born, germany based ... Michael Crețu's Enigma (a high-school revelation and "lait-motif" for me). I delved into the unknown part of the Romanian electronical music, in the realms of Rodion Roșca (Rodion G.A.) - Cluj producer that was recently revived in Bucharest by the Hipster Avangarde, into Adrian Enescu's Synthesizer Movie Soundtracks (one which I absolutely love is Autostrada) ... and also came across INDRA, a very curious blend of Indian / Vedic / Oriental philosophy and romanian motifs, carefully mixed in. As Rodion GA had a more dark and deep effect on his musical experiments, sounding more alike to the 60s Krautrock experimental scene of post-war Germany, I came to find INDRA's music more grounded in our roots, taking the step toward pre-christian culture and making you wonder, where your mind is traveling now ? ... I remember staying in my small Cluj rented room, working day-time as an architect and at night time listening to some mystical tracks such as this one or the more "Dacic" album :) ... Kingdom of Light, with some tracks inspired by our folklore and traditions, "Ciuleandra" or "Waving" having intricate textures and popular motifs that kept me interested for hours and hours. That was the reason I kept following the artist and subsqeuently, in 2013 bought "Kingdom of Light" and "Helios Arena" to play in my car, around Bucharest or in our field trips, when working in the heritage sector ... or just for fun :) This kind of music is a feeling in itself, and you must disconnect from all your emotions to experiment it, a really worthwile experience that the audience will understand years from now. Ahead of his time, but .... Keep up the good work !
